at a mosque in Quebec City, Canada as evening prayers were ending.
According to the Quebec provincial police, a French-Canadian university student is the
sole suspect in the shooting.
He will appear before a court in Quebec on Monday or Tuesday.
A source says a man of Moroccan descent who had also been arrested is now considered a
witness.
Local media reported there were between 60 and 100 people inside the mosque at the time,
including children.
However the police said the victims range in age from 35 to "about 70."
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau called it an act of terrorism against Muslims.
