Deadly terrorist attacks rip through Lahore, Baghdad

Two massive terror attacks in Pakistan and Iraq have killed scores of people.
In the eastern Pakistani city of Lahore at least 73 people have been killed and several
hundred injured when a suicide bomber struck inside a famous Sufi shrine.
An affiliate of the so-called Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the attack.
The blast targeted police officers escorting pharmacists who were protesting a law governing
drug sales.
In Baghdad,... around 50 people have been killed after a car bomb ripped through a southwestern
district of Iraq's capital.
The blast comes in the wake of a series of similar attacks which shook Baghdad in the
last few days killing at least a further 24 people.
According to reports, Thursday's bombing has been claimed by the so-called Islamic State.
