Hungary: Ukraine acts as 'victim of aggression' to seek money from West

Talking about today’s intensification of the conflict, and yes, our position on that is clear, it was recorded that the provocation was from the Ukrainian side
On Friday last week, the actual military action took place
On Sunday, Ukrainian so-called volunteer squads captured one of the main opposition headquarters and advanced on rebel-controlled territory for 200 metres
On Sunday, they [volunteers] were kicked out from there, but why is it happening now
In my opinion, there are a few reasons for that
The first reason is that the Ukrainian government is seeking financing
And it is better to seek for money from the European Union, from some certain European countries and the US and from the international financial institutions
when exposing itself as a victim of aggression
As we know, during the US presidential campaign, the current Ukrainian government took a one-side position and supported only one candidate
Moreover, most likely, with the green light from the Ukrainian political leadership, some of the oligarchs financed this candidate, to be particular the female candidate
Now [Kiev] has to establish a relationship with the current US administration and it is seeking to do that also through the conflict
as it is always better and more convenient to involve the current US government into tackling Ukrainian problems and establishing a dialogue
The third reason is in internal politics as the Ukrainian opposition became active due to the clear failures in the economic and social spheres
it is necessary to halt them and to mobilise the society around the current government
It is easier to achieve this aim when there is some ongoing conflict in the background
There is another thought about it
I believe that today, the current Ukrainian government is generally not prepared to fulfill the Minsk agreements
and is seeking for reasons to renounce the implementation
It would also contribute to the development of the conflict
I very much count on the sane powers in Ukraine and also those who are interested in the resolution of this conflict through political approaches
to not allow the Ukrainian conflict to develop in the worst case scenario
But vice versa, [they] would concentrate all their attention and efforts [on that] so the Minsk agreements would be fulfilled
