Seven earth-sized planets that could harbor life discovered

Astronomers are celebrating a mind-blowing new discovery in our own cosmic backyard.
They have found seven rocky Earth-sized planets orbiting a nearby star- all of which could
potentially support liquid water.
Scientists say that three of the planets are within the conventional "habitable" zone where
life is considered a possibility.
The planetary system is called TRAPPIST-1 and is located just 40 light-years away from
Earth.
NASA hopes to scan the planets' atmospheres for possible chemical fingerprints of life.
