First off, congratulations on turning on closed captioning.
I mean, did you think I would just upload a video of me screaming in a empty field?
YES! of course I would and that is the point I'm trying to get across here
Plenty of times in life we act without reason or sense.
Have you ever asked yourself when doing something "What is the point of this?"
And that got me thinking about the meaning of life
Now i know that is a bit of a cliche, right?
But it's a topic that everyone has thought about at some point so here is my take on it.
Human's are like any other animal in that we have something to drive us forward.
Now for most animals they just have their basic instincts like hunting for food, finding water or shelter
These are quite simple, but human's have higher brain functionality, so we crave more than just that.
Perhaps your familiar to Maslow's hierarchy of Needs Theory, it's like that.
So, therefore, when Human's find themselves stuck in a rut or have no real drive beyond
the basic animal instincts, that is when we feel trapped and life has less meaning.
So I came to the conclusion that the "Meaning Of Life" is not some solid concrete thing that you can have all throughout your life.
It changes constantly, depending on your age, emotional state and physical well being.
As well as exterior factors such as your career, relationship, geographical location and culture.
Your personal "meaning" could last for years or only days.
So, when you feel trapped in a field, just take it to mean you're in between those "meanings of life" eventually you will find another.
Life is not a straight path, nor is it just a series of forks.
It is more like a labyrinth with many alternate pathways.
However, and here is the conclusion.
The labyrinth has multiple exits, so don't feel like you're going to be trapped forever.
