calling the regime "the most prominent threat" the U.S. and South Korea face.
During a regular briefing on Tuesday, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer said the
U.S. is looking forward to fulfilling the commitments made last week during a phone
conversation between President Trump and South Korea's acting president Hwang Kyo-ahn.
"We want to reassure the South Korean government and the Blue House that we are gonna do what
we can to make sure that we stand with South Korea and we prevent any hostile actions from
North Korea."
Spicer also stated that the safety of the U.S., South Korea and the region will be the
greatest focus within their policy on the Korean peninsula.
