U.S. calls on China to do more on N. Korea

U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson has urged China to do more to encourage its long-time
ally North Korea to refrain from provocations.

Bonn,... Tillerson said North Korea's nuclear and missile programs are an increasing threat...
and Beijing should use its influence to moderate Pyongyang's destabilizing behavior.

China's foreign minister called for the resumption of six-party talks with North Korea on Pyongyang's
nuclear program, saying a "negative cycle" of nuclear and missile tests followed by sanctions
is a no-win situation that must end.
Beijing's top diplomat said that,... while sanctions must be implemented, neither side
should give up on dialogue.
