girls final. I'm Christina chambers.

IED group.
What does it take to put this huge event on.
It takes a lot of people volunteering and helping out.
We've got a lot of luck over the
years and that is been a solid group of guys that have in
volunteering for 20 plus years. So guys in the Birmingham tipoff

long a period of time. Without those folks, group like
ours think amenable to manage this thing properly.
So it takes several hundred volunteers to put together an
event like this. a couple of new things, you guys

design, just personalize. It is just something special for

athletes. It was last couple of years we
tried to bring in a new court design every year.
Obviously focusing on the experience for the student
athletes, and what we want to do
is get them that unforgettable experience.
They will never played organized
basketball again so we put the symbol it midcourt and did a
nice clean water around the outside of the floor with our
state logo, it ended up getting corner outside the edges of the
floor. How long do you have to set up
this floor, this event and everything.
It depends on the year. This year we had one full day in

started Sunday at 9:00 a.m. It's collaborative effort and
definitely take some planning. It takes some physical work.
We have some good solid group that comes in and the floor is
one of the first things that goes Dawn so the floor gets
built and everything else gets built around it.
So all the seating that goes around the court, it is
definitely a group effort and it
takes a lot of people to get it done.
