It went into 100,000!
Sekt!
Hey everyone!
Dana here.
That clip that you just saw was from last summer right after our channel hit 100,000 subscribers.
If you can’t already tell from my videos themselves, I really hope that you can see
from that clip that I put absolutely everything, every part of myself into my videos, into
the Wanted Adventure channel.
And it is you -- the people watching my videos, subscribing to my channel -- it is literally
you who helped me reach that exciting milestone and make that reaction happen.
Okay now, please don't run away.
Yes, this is one of those videos, but it’s about more than just money, I promise.
If you’re enjoying my videos and you love the content I’m putting out there, and you’d
like to support me, if you’re watching my videos, if you’re subscribed to my channel,
you are already supporting me in a way that really means a lot to me.
So thank you very much.
I create around 8 videos each month.
My videos come out on Sundays at 9 a.m. German-time and Wednesdays.
Lately I've been putting them out on Wednesdays in the afternoon here, so looking out for
those videos and watching them is already really awesome.
If you’d like to support me further, one way that you can do that is by helping me
get the word out about my channel.
If you enjoyed one video in particular and you think your friends would like it,
share it with them!
If you know someone who is interested in cultures or learning German or thinking about moving
abroad, please pass my channel along to them.
That would be so great.
Another way you can support me is by checking out the other content I’m making.
In addition to my Wanted Adventure YouTube videos,
I also make videos with the Bayerischer Rundfunk.
For example, about every-other week they publish a quick English-language tip video that I’ve
made for them on the Telekolleg Facebook page.
Videos about sugar and sayings and false friends and other hopefully helpful things
to know about English.
I’ll put a link down below for that, and if you don’t use Facebook, you can also
find all of those videos collected on an external website, which I will link to as well.
So watching and commenting on those videos really supports me too.
You can also find me on TV right now on the channel ARD-alpha on Sundays for five minutes,
so don’t blink.
Catch me there from 10:55 a.m. to 11 a.m.
I have also recently opened up my videos to allowing community contributions to the video
subtitles, titles, and descriptions.
So if you feel like honing your translation skills, give it a go.
Or if you don’t want to translate you can also go and read the translations that other people
have written and find their mistakes and correct them.
So I will link down below for information on how to do all that.
And the icing on the cake: yes, we are now on Patreon, finally on Patreon.
And as I’ve been saying at the end of some of my videos, thank you so much to everyone
who is supporting us there and helping to make these videos possible.
There are a few different reward tiers that I’m offering, mostly with more behind-the-scenes stuff.
All patrons who support us get to be a part of the live comments chats that I have sometimes.
So yeah, thank you very much for your support on Patreon and all the other ways that you
support us that I talked about here in this video.
I love being able to make these videos, sharing what I’ve learned and experienced living
abroad in Germany with you, and I love learning from your comments down below too.
On a lot of videos I really feel like I learn so much from the comments or that my eyes
are opened to a new perspective because of your comments, so thank you very much for
that as well.
And until next time, auf Wiedersehen!
