In this step-by-step video, we are going to help Ser Barristan Selmy buy badges for himself
and his buddies, Robb and Jon.
Starting at 8:00 AM Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) on Saturday April 8, you may enter your
personal registration code to gain access to the EXPO LOGIC Registration waiting room.
Your registration code has already been sent to you by email, but may also access your
code by logging in to your Comic-Con Member ID account and clicking the "Registration
Info" tab.
The registration code entry page will remain open from 8:00 AM PDT to 9:00 AM PDT.
There is no advantage in arriving early.
Please keep in mind that the waiting room will close to new entrants at 9:00 AM PDT
sharp.
You must authorize your registration code prior to 9:00 AM to participate in Open Registration.
Oops!
Looks like Barristan made a mistake.
All registration codes are exactly 15 characters long.
Be careful if you copy and paste your registration code, you may accidentally add a leading or
following space.
Each registration code is good for one entry into the waiting room only.
Your registration code will authorize only one browser, so do not attempt to use multiple
browsers or tabs.
Only one browser per registration code.
There is one important thing to remember about the EXPO LOGIC waiting room, Don’t Refresh!
The waiting room will automatically refresh every 120 seconds.
If your blue circle is spinning, your page is active!
The badge sale will begin shortly after 9:00 AM PDT and EXPO LOGIC will begin moving groups
randomly from the waiting room to a registration session.
Pay close attention while in the waiting room since you could be moved into your registration
session at any time.
We will post live status updates in the yellow message box to let you know when badge inventory
is running low.
If you are accidentally removed from the waiting room or lose connectivity, simply return to
the registration code entry page (found in your email or Member ID account) and enter
your registration code again.
You will be put back with the same group you were with previously.
This only applies to registration codes that were authorized prior to 9:00 AM.
Unfortunately not everyone who participates in Open Registration will be able to purchase
a badge.
Gaining admittance to the waiting room does not guarantee you a badge or a registration
session.
After waiting about 30 minutes, Barristan was randomly selected for a registration session!
On the log in page, enter your Comic-Con Member ID and last name.
Do not enter your Member ID password.
Make sure that you are entering your information exactly as it is displayed in your Member
ID account, including any special characters like an accent or umlaut.
Enter the number of people you are purchasing badges for, including yourself.
You can purchase for up to three eligible members.
Make sure you select the correct number of members since you won’t be able to return
to this page if you make a mistake.
Remember, you will have 15 minutes to complete the entire purchase process.
When you reach the badge selection page, available inventory will be displayed in the yellow
bar at the top of the attendee list.
Badge inventory will not change while you are on this page.
If your desired badge type is sold out, select another badge or close your registration session.
Enter each Member ID and last name and click the ”validate” button.
Uh oh!
It looks like Barristan entered Robb's last name incorrectly.
If you are having problems validating an attendee, they are likely ineligible for open registration
or the name does not match our records.
If they have already purchased a badge, their Member ID will not validate.
If at any time you want to remove an attendee from your list, select the “clear” button.
You do not need to fill in all the attendee slots to continue.
Barristan and Robb want to attend Preview Night, but Jon can only make it on Friday,
Saturday and Sunday.
Remember, if you wish to attend Preview Night, you must purchase a Thursday, Friday, Saturday,
and Sunday badge.
If any of those four days are unavailable, you may not purchase the Preview Night option.
Both Jon and Robb are benefitting from the generous senior/military discount on their
badges.
If your junior, senior, or military discount is not displayed, purchase a badge and contact
Comic-Con after the sale for partial refund assistance.
Once you have selected all of your badges, click the “Proceed to Checkout” button.
Any badges not selected will be returned to inventory and cannot be retrieved.
Make sure that you have selected all of the badges that you need before you continue.
*Important* It is critical that you do not use your browser’s back button during any
step of your registration session!
If you need to remove a badge selection, you will be given that option on the final review
page.
Enter the buyer’s billing address, credit card information, phone number, and email.
The “buyer” is the credit card holder.
Comic-Con accepts Visa, MasterCard, and American Express only.
We’re sorry, but we cannot accept PayPal or payments using multiple credit cards.
All badges associated with your order will be shipped directly to the attendee.
We will ship badges to the address on file in your Member ID account as of May 18.
We are unable to ship to an international address.
International attendees may pick up their badges onsite.
When you are ready to move on, select the “Continue” button.
Review your buyer’s information and all badge selections.
Oh no!
Robb just called and Jeyne has tickets to a play in White Harbor on Thursday.
Looks like Barristan is going solo that day.
If you need to remove a badge from your order, do not hit the back button!
Simply select the “remove” option next to the badge and confirm that you want to
return that badge to inventory.
Badges returned to inventory cannot be retrieved.
Remember, if you’ve selected the Preview Night option and choose to remove any one
of your single day badges, you’ll automatically lose your Preview Night badge and will not
be able to retrieve it.

Your purchase is refundable until May 18, 2017.
If you accept the Terms and conditions, type “agree” where indicated.
When you are ready to complete your purchase, click “Process Order”.

An order acknowledgement will be sent to the buyer's email address within 24 – 48 hours.
A confirmation email will be sent to each individual attendee within 72 hours of purchase.
Please do not contact Comic-Con prior to 72 hours after the sale if you have not received
your confirmation email.
