The 47-year-old wife of President Donald Trump donned a military-inspired jacket and matching skirt from the Altuzarra Spring 2017 runway collection as she and her husband,
met with Argentine President Mauricio Macri and his wife Juliana Awada in Washington, D.C.
The designer's 'Feday' gabardine military jacket with python-print piping costs a whopping $2,995,
while the matching skirt featuring asymmetrical buttons added another $1,120 to the price of the $4,115 ensemble.
According to Net-a-Porter, the python piping on the khaki green ensemble was actually inspired by a jacket worn by actor Nicholas Cage in the David Lynch film Wild at Heart.
Melania accessorized her edgy out fit with a pair of python Manolo Blahnik BB pumps - which retail for around $595 per pair - to match the piping on her jacket and skirt.
Although she switched up of her style for her latest meeting, she struck to her trademark hairstyle, wearing her caramel-colored hair in loose waves around her shoulders.
Meanwhile, the First Lady of Argentina stunned in a fire-engine red pencil dress featuring a peplum design at her hips.
Juliana, 43, opted for a monochromatic look, wearing a red patent leather clutch and red suede and patent leather pumps by Aquazzura, which retail for $695.
Awkwardly, Aquazzura is currently in the midst of a legal battle with Trump's eldest daughter Ivanka Trump, as the high-end brand accused her of ripping off its designs for her eponymous fashion label.
Last year in June, the fashion designer's business filed a federal lawsuit against Ivanka and her licensing company.
It claimed Ivanka's Hettie stiletto was identical to their Wild Thing pump, which has found a following among celebrities including Kendall Jenner and Solange Knowles.
The Italian shoe company pointed out in their complaint that the color, silhouette and fringing design of Ivanka's closely matched their own.
In addition to her controversial heels, the Argentine businesswoman's red ensemble looked to have been inspired by none other than Kate Middleton,
as the Duchess of Cambridge has worn a similar red Alexander McQueen frock on numerous occasions.
Like the Duchess, Juliana also wore her chocolate brown locks pulled half up and in loose curls, similar to the royal's trademark hairstyle.
Although both the presidents donned navy suits for their meeting, Trump left his jacket open to show off his lengthy striped tie.
Trump puts great stock in the relationships he's building with his foreign counterparts, and has spoken extensively in recent weeks about the 'chemistry' he says he built with Chinese President Xi Jinping after their talks earlier this month at Trump's private estate in Florida.
Upon their arrival, a red carpet and military honor guard awaited Macri and his wife as their motorcade pulled up the driveway to the White House's South Lawn entrance.
Melania and Juliana were all smiles as they posed for photos with their husbands following their initial introductions.
The men patted each other's backs as they turned and went inside. Trump described Macri as 'my good friend for many, many years', and when asked how long that was, he replied: 'Long time.'
After the photo-op, President Trump was seen chatting with their guests while Melania walked ahead of them.
However, Juliana caught up with her and they chatted ahead of their husbands as they strolled through the Colonnade of the White House.
Once they arrived in the Oval Office, their husbands sat side-by-side in matching yellow chairs.
However, Melania and Juliana sat perched on opposite couches facing each other. Both women had their legs crossed and their hands folded over their laps as they smiled.
'In the Oval Office, Trump again spoke of his personal friendship with Macri, saying: 'We're going to be great friends, better than ever before.
Meanwhile, Macri spoke briefly about his desire for strong relations with the U.S., and Argentine journalists in the room asked about lemons.
The Trump administration recently postponed a decision by former President Barack Obama to lift a 16-year ban on imports of Argentine lemons, stalling the return of imports from one of the world's top producers of the citrus fruit.
After Trump and Macri met in the Oval Office, they then sat down with their delegations for a working lunch.
The two already enjoy a personal relationship from their days as businessmen, ties both hope to leverage to boost U.S.-Argentina relations.
