happening in game because we are going
to be at the end of the video discussing
and talking about tick manipulation and
of course there is a bunch of stuff to
talk about today before we get into that

of the topics we're going to be talking

ok now the story behind this is that the
guy in a clip in which you could see was
pretty upset actually is somebody who
just recently lost his max cape on dead
man mode and yes guys people still play
that memo the regular dead man world
world and why this dude was so upset was
because of lack of communication that
happened I believe heels on teamspeak
with his plan he had to mute the teams
because he was talking to his brother
and they went into the raid without him
and while he was left behind a clan
jumped him right and as you can realize
if you were dreading for your life and
you're really panicky on meeting your
mic on teamspeak is the last thing
you're going to be able to do while
somebody is stacking you out so he seems
like wasn't able to talk to him to come
back him out or to come out the right to
help him and he lost his max cake now
let me just put into perspective he lost
a hundred and fifty mill XP on dead man
mode odd that yeah I mean I you get
bonus XP and mmos been losing over 100
50 now XP is really really harsh now

going to be talking about is an event
that happened a while ago do you guys
remember when the runescape servers with
d seeing like mad for like almost two
three weeks people or certain a certain
amount of people were not able to log on
to the server well it seems like
recently they have caught this guy and
this guy was not only responsible for
detoxing runescape he was also
responsible for ddosing many other games
his name goes by the name of alan mud he
was captured or arrested or seized by
the police and he is going to be facing
i believe a lot of jail time or a lot of
charges which is pretty interesting next
up let's talk about the fire cape
version 2 so it's no new news that dad
to is coming out and a lot of people
have been curious to see how the second
dad cape is going to look like this you
know the next jad cape that you're gonna
achieve from killing like the boss dad
that is going to be coming out jagex
released a preview of how the Cape is
going to look I guess and not too many
people were excited or happy about this
according to twitter anyway on many
people may have liked it but on Twitter
a lot of people were showing negativity
now a lot of people have put their own
jad to tape designs and a question is
how is the kid gonna look it's going to
look like how they presented to it to us
are they gonna do some kind of coal
ultimately if i can plug my opinion in
really quick I do believe they should
make it look like the Rhino cave back on
pre iasi before they changed it and made
it like this fiery tape dude the right
okay just looks so beautiful it's so
plain it's not too flashy it just looks

that we're going to be talking
is a literal change in the magic gaming
matter on runescape take a look so as
you can see I mean this isn't something
that is just people have found out i'm
pretty sure people have been doing it
for years but i just saw this today and
i think that's a genius idea now as you
guys know wood windows mouse keys you
can substitute clicking on your mouse to
clicking on your keyboard so without
King instead of spamming your mouse
whole day in which people don't like to
click the mouse or law you can just
click on your keyboard and it basically
does the same thing as you can see this
dude went a step further and he got a
wireless keyboard so he's able to do
this while feet away from his computer
so he's getting gains you know sitting
back relaxing watching TV while getting
games on runescape now my problem with
this is how far does this rule extent
because I'm there's many programs you
can use in which you can control your
computer remotely so what if someone
were to get that program on his phone
and someone was able to just spam his
phone all day remotely while getting XP
like he's going to walk into school or
something driving to school and he's
just pressing on his phone you know with
the windows mouse key substitute I guess
or something if he's able to remap it on
his phone and he can get XP literally
three miles or maybe even countries away
from his Camino original computer would
jagex make a rule against this probably
not but that's interesting to think
about next of ice Poseidon gets himself
into another kind of dangerous situation
I mean what's new it seems like every
month exercising is always almost dying
somehow but what happened was he was on
his way to a restaurant and prior to
this his fans would Frank call in this
restaurant saying you know probably
sending death threats and whatnot you
know scaring the owners all the people
in there so when I suicide and arrived
at the restaurant the owner was outside
you know taking phone calls from these
people sending death threats and when
the owner found out ice beside him
because these people prank call and
would describe in how Isis I don't look
so the owner da ice Poseidon was the one
responsible when I suicided arrived at
the restaurant the owner walked in
pissed off grab
ice beside ins camera and smashed it to
the ground people are saying that his
camera was like two thousand five
thousand dollars right okay okay what
the fuck fuck you

which is insane and then after allegedly
ice Poseidon said that this guy was
talking about having a gang with guns
and he didn't you know Brandon him and
stuff like that which is just insane bro
like I like these guys are not even
friends anymore these guys are legit ice
haters and they probably want to try and
harm ice witches in saying now the last
thing I want to talk about is a little
discussion about tick manipulation now
I'm kind of try not to put my opinion in
it play as you guys know it's hard for
me to talk without my opinion somehow
rubbing off on you but I really want to
talk about tick manipulation what
exactly is the definition of pig
manipulation because we're going to talk
about this we need to define it well for
those of you who don't know the simple
definition of tick manipulation is
players simply using the runescape clock
to their advantage and this can be done
in many ways such as prey flicking using
food combinations like a shotgun decorum
13 tick woodcutting to take vision one
take this one too that there's many ways
in which players are able to manipulate
the tick system now before we get into
whether or not this is good or bad if
we're going to have to talk about what
exactly a game tick is like I said tick
manipulation is players abusing the
runescape clock a tick is basically a
game tick is basically how the game is
run every event or action you do is run
off of a game tick and each game tick is
point six seconds is not point five
seconds is not point three seconds it's
not one second it is point six seconds
for example eating a piece of food takes
three game tix which I believe adds up
to 1.8 seconds or almost two seconds
however why a player is able to eat a
piece of food and a qualm Braun at the
same time in the same game tick well
many can argue that this is actually
tick manipulation whether or not is
allowed or not you are still
manipulating the system in a way in
which you are eating two pieces of food
in one game tick which I believe was not
intended that is the whole argument with
game in isolation is whether or not the
developers intended for this to happen
in which they probably did not I'm
pretty sure when jagex or whoever was in
charge of food eating
was coding stuff I pretty I'm pretty
sure he didn't intend for a piece of
food to be eaten two times in one game
take if that was the case he would have
dis invented a food that heals 40 or you
know 36 another really common example of
tic manipulation would be prey flicking
prey flicking more prayer flicking
prayer flicking is activating a prayer
for short time the prayer exactly before
the animation starts and then deactivate
it as soon as it starts this is the
method that you have to use to ensure
that you use the least amount of prayer
points for your task players being able
to keep their prayer points full while
using it without it draining now this is
really hard to do because for a player
to pull this off they would have to turn
on and off their prayer within one game
tick and remember one game tickets point
six seconds so turn it on and off your
prayer within one game tick is kind of
hard to do not only this but players
have to time this so let's say someone
is fighting demons or something and they
pray flicking the melee protection
prayer not only would they have to turn
on and off their prayer melee every game
tick which is 1.6 seconds but also they
have to time it so why people argue I'll
do you know take manipulation is so
unfair badniks others r argue well no
it's not unfair because it's extremely
hard to do and it requires a lot of
concentration now even to this day
there's lots of forms of tick
manipulations that are still being used
today in game has actually been history
of jagex removing some of these tick
manipulation methods a prime example of
this was when players used to manipulate
the runescape clock or tick system by
keeping in game boosts basically
indefinitely ghosts at stats last for 60
seconds but when you log out to the
lobby and log back in the timer reset
and you have another 60 seconds so what
you need is as we all know and a Bissel
demon requires 85 Slayer to kill players
with a V slay would eat a wild pie which
would boost them 5 Slayer levels given
him 85 they would kill one a Bissel
demon log off and log back in why they
would log off is that players shortly
realize that if they logged off it would
reset to boost clock or the tick clock
so when they log back in they would stay
85 slaves
kill another demon log off and repeat
you know kill la kill la kill log and
basically they'll keep 85 slave forever
obviously the people who invented skill
boost intended for the boost to be
drained after sin amount of time if
players were just simply logging up to
reset the counter that was a clear
example of click manipulation and a
clear example of something that was not
intended it was so much of a problem
that jagex actually removed this another
issue would be cheating death players
were able to knowingly and unknowingly
cheat death in game now how that works
is that for some hip splats they would
register one tick before the game
registers that you have died because
remember PvP in some cases someone would
hit you with like a 99 your red bar
would show that you have no hit points
left meaning that the game should
register that you died but because they
ate the food in the tix before the
system registered they died they were
still alive so you would kill somebody
but they'll eat a tick right before you
kill them now how jagex combatted this
is over killing for example if someone
has 10 HP no wilderness or in any PvP
situation you can still hit him 99 even
though he has 10 HP you can / kill him
and that was preventing players from
basically you know take cheating death
now an example of sone using this method
knowingly would be sown by the name of
random ental that what you are seems is
not technically a glitch and in my
opinion is a game mechanic why just so
is because as you can see basically this
has been around forever this was even
around after 2007
and to keep it till you doing on a UFC
and other player has sent HP but he's
sitting at 9h beans 210 HP and say most
likely you're going to one hit him right
so you're going to hidden for a 9 so you
fire your crossbow shot on them and you
get an XP drop before the actual hit hit
so the hit is predetermined so you're
already predetermined to hit at nine so
let's say before it actually hits them
and put the XP is already dropped in
between that small framed of time during
the animation if you time your eat just
right you your hit will hit 49 HP but
the guy will eat one HP in between that
time and therefore still have 10 HP and
he'll then he'll have one HP left so
basically it is just basically timing
intervals between attack animations
sounds XP drops from the NPC's is Cedric
someone who literally can get five capes
on a level three because his
understanding and knowledge of game tix
is so vast that he's able to do crazy
stuff as you can see in this clip he is
literally tick cheating death with jet
as you can see jad is hitting him every
time 20 basically and because he's
reading one tick before the game
registers him and said he is able to
basically indefinitely stay alive as
long as he has a bite to eat somewhere
which is pretty interesting but as you
can see jagex were like no this is 20 p
and they stopped it with the overkill
thing now finally there are forms of pic
manipulations that are still allowed to
this day in which people claim players
are abusing to get more XP per hour an
example of this would be three thick
wood cutting or toothpick fishing now
these two methods explain are clearly
unintended and I'll clearly tick
manipulation but the argument is should
they be allowed that is what I'm does
the question I'm asking you right now
now I must say I gotta make this clear
when people do stuff like to took
fishing or three tik wood cutting it is
extremely hard to do I believe with wood
cutting you have to get a monster to
attack you in the same tick or a tick
later than when you cut the tree and it
like it messes with the game system and
you cut logs faster meaning you get
faster woodcutting XP while doing this
now
let us say this is extremely hard to do
and it requires a lot of concentration
rather than just clicking the tree and
just cutting it while mindlessly going
on youtube or doing whatever you're
doing so please I'll do that look if
these XP geeks and these XP nerds are
doing these crazy clicking to let them
get more XP I mean they're putting in
more work let them be rewarded and I can
agree with that right I mean it is thick
manipulation there's no doubt about that
but if they put again way more work than
the average player who just clicks the
Korean watches this guy cut the tree eh
I can see why a lot of people agree with
you know with take manipulating in this
way and I can that's probably why it's
still existent in the game now before
people saw commenting that I have no
idea what I'm talking about jagex is
fully aware of click manipulation if we
look at the fossil island update and the
mining update it clearly says in the dev
blog or whatever that there will be no
form of take manipulation meaning that
it just goes to show that jagex knows
about tech manipulation and it's
actually a definition now the question
is do you guys believe that tick
manipulation should be allowed in game
or do you believe it shouldn't be
allowed in games that is what you guys
