As you can see we've got this really bright orange Mustang.
This is actually a Richard Petty Edition one of one hundred so this is very rare and we
want to maintain.
The body is in almost immaculate condition, we are going to protect that as well but what
we are mainly going to focus on is the plastic pieces like the grill, it has a splitter and
under the hood there is a lot of black textured plastic pieces that we want to help protect
and also rejuvenate.
So using our Carbon Flex C9 we are going to coat it and it will be dry-to-the touch.
So to start off I've already cleaned the plastic trim pieces and now we're going to coat it.
You may not I've got my gloves on and that is because I don't want to get any of that
coating on my hands.
Before we actually start applying the coating we are going to tape off the area so we don't
get any on the paint.
Lets get started.
This is our Carbon Flex Trim Coating.
All you need to do is open the bottle and pour some onto the micro-suede applicator.
Then we can start working it into the plastic and as I had already mentioned I cleaned off
all the plastic areas so it's not going to coat the dirt or contamination.
Work it into the plastic and already you can see it brings out that really deep black look,
that tuxedo finish.
This is protecting and also rejuvenating the plastic.
So just take your time when applying this to all the plastic pieces making sure to get
any crack or crevice.
This is protecting the plastic from UV rays and harsh elements but underneath the hood
where it is exposed to extreme heat this will protect it from drying out or fading.
So now that the plastic underneath the hood is coated we are going to finish off the rest
of the vehicle.
So as you can see I've already taped off the paintwork around the plastic and this is to
ensure that I don't get any of the C9 onto the paint.
Now we're going to apply it to all the plastic pieces and it is really simple to apply.
I've got my micro suede applicator.
It comes with these towels but you want to throw these away after they are used because
they will get hard and it is no longer usable so then you need a new towel.
Taking your time not to get it on any glass or getting it on the paintwork.
It is going to help protect it for over twenty four months against UV rays, harsh elements
or anything that will embed the plastics that could stain it and harm the finish.
So there you have it guys, the trim is all protected on this Mustang.
This car is rare and as I mentioned it is basically brand new, it only has twenty-one
miles on it so we want to make sure we preserve as much of this car as we can.
This is going to help rejuvenate the plastic and give it that deeper blacker shine for
up to two years.
