guy it's Ian K back again with another one for
you here at chick-fil-a to take a look
at a brand new seasonal item they've
got on the menu just in time for summer
and it's bringing a popular name along
with it that's right guys the smokehouse
name is being thrown around these days
like it ain't no thang and now it looks
like chick-fil-a is next in line to give
it a go only this time maybe a little
bit more traditionally with their
all-new smokehouse bbq bacon
sandwich and it's got a couple of
standout ingredients that sure do make
it look fantastic so let's give it a go
and see if it actually tastes as good as
it looks
but as always before I take that first
bite to give you my thoughts like I
always do let's get right up on it first
for that closer look let's peep this out
the popular smokehouse name is back this
time from chick-fil-a in the form of the
smokehouse bbq bacon sandwich it
definitely smells pretty sweet and it
looks pretty tasty let's pop the top of
the star crossed bun to see what we're
working with looks like a decent portion
of what smells like a very rich and
sweet-smelling hickory bbq sauce
along with some Colby jack cheese but
guys take a look at this underneath
brown sugar and pepper bacon and man it
is really lighting up in my car pretty nicely
right now look how crispy and coated
those strips of bacon look they're
looking very fantastic and they sure
don't skimp on the amount of bacon on
the sandwich guys I'm thinking this is
about 5 or so strips of the good
stuff here and it looks really really
fantastic sitting on top of their famous
grilled chicken breasts definitely a
tasty treat as always here at
chick-fil-a and underneath that of
course you've got some very fresh
looking leaf lettuce to go with it there
and of course the bottom of the bun but
looking fantastic smelling dynamite this
is the all-new smokehouse bbq bacon
sandwich here at chick-fil-a let's peep
out this flavor
Wow I can't stop saying it it looks
fantastic it smells fantastic it's the
smokehouse bbq bacon here at
chick-fil-a mmm Wow guys as expected the
highlight on this one so far is easily
going to be that crispy brown sugar and
pepper bacon along with that smokehouse
bbq sauce it's a very nice
combination of smoky flavor and sweet
with a little bit of bite on the back
end from the pepper and although the
chicken itself is not super juicy it's
seasoned well as always here at
chick-fil-a very tasty so far it's not
so much thick as it is flavorful where
the thickness is coming from mostly is
from the star crossed bun that it sits on
but overall lots of bacon in the middle
it's a very satisfying crunch and
overall the sauce itself very nice and
smoky and also as expected the Colby
jack cheese is just fading into the
background and considering all the other
flavors on the sandwich I guess it's to
be expected but like you always hear me
say it is the glue that holds everything
together and it is doing its job pretty
admirably considering how much bacon is
on this and I'm glad there's plenty of
it because it's friggin delicious one
more shot on the inside guys have a look
at that brown sugar and peppered bacon
action they do not skimp on the amount
of bacon on the sandwich and it goes
extremely well with their smokehouse
bbq sauce easily 2 of the
highlights of the sandwich by far so
what do you guys think of this one so
far do you think it's worth the money
because personally for me I think it's
maybe a dollar or so more expensive
than it needs to be and although I do
like the grilled chicken that it comes
on as always from chick-fil-a I can't
help but think about how amazing their
regular chicken would be with this I
mean guys come on they're classically
fried thicker chicken patty along with
some of that brown sugar and pepper
bacon and the smokehouse bbq sauce
definitely sign me up but you guys let

for the overall score on this one on
that bomb sexy for your face scale of 1
to 10 the all-new smokehouse bbq
bacon sandwich here at chick-fil-a is
going to get a solid 8.5 out of 10 it's
a very delicious chicken sandwich for
sure even if it's just a little over
priced and considering all the amazing
flavors that it's got I really wish the
chicken itself was just a little bit
thicker but still very delicious and
