Topaz Yates back with another album review.
This time to Gucci Mane Droptopwop.
As I am giving this the low end yellow light because it just isn't that good of a project.
First of all it is a Gucci Mane project which means you can throw out the hopes of lyricism
as he will deliver nothing but the commercialized trap music that has been popularized recently.
As this seems to come off as summertime trap music but I have to ask what is the difference
between summertime trap and winter trap?
Going off this project nothing much besides being more about about stunting and balling
out beside homicides.
As there is only one song off this project that I really enjoyed and it is the 5 million
intro.
This song is talking about his success that he
has had
while claiming to have be making 5 million dollars a day, which is false.
Maybe at one point of his career he may have made that but never consistently.
Yet it doesn't matter as this song has that high energy trap that people really try to
emulate with this.
Like
this song is
the embodiment of
the trap
music
that people want
to make.
