Today we are going to explore the unboxing of my new tripod: the iKross 47" tripod.
It has four adapters.
It can go as tall as four different levels (up to 47 inches).
It has a leveler (I think that's what it is called).
Let's see what happens!
So here is the packaging of the iKross 47" tripod and these are the devices that I am
going to test the tripod out with.
It is perfect for a digital camera, action camera, tablet, and mobile device.
Here is a diagram of the tripod itself and here are the accessories that come along with it.
Let's speed this up and get into the packaging.
I did not even realize that it came with a pouch.
It's perfect: has an arm strap and a zipper -- which is essential.
Here are all of the accessories that are inside -- this looks like it's for a cellphone.
Definitely for a tablet.
Perfect for multiple sizes.
This little thing... oh -- it's one of those that you can sort of rotate your device on.
I already have one of these but... it is perfect anyway.
Oh!
Instructions that I am not going to read.
And that's a leveler: which I'm not sure if all tripods have, but I can definitely use.
Okay: ball head grip, supportive stand... feels really easy to just open and close quickly.
Let's just get into testing it.
I want to extend the legs a bit: there are these three locks here.
This will allow it to go at the four different heights.
But yeah, again, just super easy.
If you're looking for a real-life example you can look at it compared to me at 5'9" tall.
You have the first level, the second, the third, and a fourth.
But what you don't realize is that there's even a fifth if you loosen the knob and raise
the center column.
It would seem like you can easily just screw on your device right on top of the tripod
but it's better to just take it off.
So this is the little clip.
You can take it off easily, attach your device easily, and move on with your life.
Now it's locked and secure.
This one is the adapter for my cell phone -- which I love to use when I'm traveling.
Now I'm just gonna fit this in here.
Release the lock on the back.
Remember to turn it to the right in order to lock it.
Now let's see how simple this is to get it on.
Boom.
Done.
That one is for the action camera but I actually already have one on my action camera -- they
pretty much look exactly the same -- so I'm just gonna use mine because I don't feel like
unscrewing this one.
You can just snap it right on.
Swing it around if you feel like it.
This, by the way, is a Kaiser Baas x150.
I actually have a review of this camera so I'll put a link somewhere.
Just going to try it on my larger, heavier camera.
The tripod itself is only like, 1.25lbs -- something like that.
It's really, really light.
And to compare: it's pretty much the weight of an iPad.
Let me just put this here.
And again, even with the weight of my digital camera it still feels extremely sturdy.
And this is the Samsung NX1000.
Now we'll try the one for tablets.
Um, I don't use a tablet but I'll just show you how this works: turn to the right for
locking.
Turn to the left for releasing.
You can do portrait or landscape orientation.
Easy to take off.
And that's it!
