aroma diffuser.
So, let’s see what I think about it.
Hey guys, it’s Natalie with Living the Oil Life.
Thanks for checking out my channel.
If this is your first time doing so, I hope you check out more videos like this one.
So, a company on Amazon.com contact me and asked me if they sent me their usb aroma diffuser
if I would review it.
And, I said, of course I would.
I would love to.
Because, number one, who doesn’t love reviews.
And, number two, who can have too many diffusers.
So, they did send me this to keep.
But this is my honest opinion of it.
And, it came in a box like this - cutie patuttie little box.
And it came with the diffuser.
It came with their manual.
And, it came with their usb cord.
It is run by usb.
And it is a very long one.
That’s what I like about it.
Look how long this is.
I think they said it was like 6 ft on here.
But it is very lightweight, and that’s how big it is.
It’s about as big as a soda can.
And the plastic is very well made.
It is not flimsy at all.
Ok, so let’s talk about some of it’s features.
It says on their website that it is usb powered, and compact sized.
Like I said, it’s about the size of a soda can.
It has two misting modes.
It has a continuous and an intermittent, meaning it goes on for 30 seconds, it goes off for
30 seconds.
It also has 7 color LED lights.
One setting it cycles through the 7 different colors and then you can cycle through and
pick your and that stays on.
Or, you can even just have the light on and not have the mist running, which it would
make a great night-light.
But, why wouldn’t you want to have the mist going.
It does have a safe auto-off technology, which when there is not enough oil…when there’s
not enough water and oil to diffuse, it will turn itself off.
And so this is a great portable size for your office, for your home, to travel with, in
the car, in a hotel room, in a condo, anywhere like that.
I really think it’s the perfect size for that.
Now, I’ll show you how to use it.
It came with a cord, and it has a little plug right there, you plug it in, ooop.
You plug it in, and then it has a little, um, what do you call it - a thing for the
cord to fit.
It is a little hard to get in, but I think that’s just because it’s new.
And then the cover is very easy.
You take it off like this and there is the cover.
And then it has a little inside cover like this and you take that off, and then there's
the inside where you would put the oils, now, and the water.
Now the only thing I'm a little disappointed with is, I don't know if you guys see it,
but there is the max line and the drain side arrow.
And, I wish that was a little bit darker in case you were traveling and it was dark or
anything like that or if it's night time and it's hard to see.
But, you can kind of guesstimate and you kind of, after awhile of using it, you know where
the water goes.
So, you put the water in, I'll show you exactly how to do it.
So, the port is 50, uh 70 ml I believe, and I just put it in my little pouring case.
This does not come with it.
Their larger models do come with it and some of their other models, but the little travel
one does not.
So, you can take a water bottle with you if you're going in the car and you're going to
be on long trips.
Just take a bottle of water with you, so you can refill it.
But, you just pour it in, you put it up to the max line which is right there.
And the good thing is, is where the max line is there is this little plastic, not plastic,
I guess etched line that you can see there.
And then you just take your favorite oil put in a few drops.
I do between like 3 and 5, depending on where I'm going to put it.
If you're in a big car maybe do 5 if you're in a little car maybe 3.
If you're in the office try 3 and see that is.
And then you make sure you put this little plastic lid back on top, and then you just
place this back on - the 2nd lid back on top.
And if you see where the little buttons are and where their logo is, if you line those
up and twist and it locks right in.
So that is it.
So then, you plug it in to your computer, you plug the usb into your computer.
And I'll show you - I'll turn it on for you.
There is the mist.
And when you first turn it on that is the continuous mist, and it will mist between
3 and, I think it said 6 hours.
And this is very impressive to me.
I've seen some that it's just little spurts of mist, but this is continuous.
And I ran this probably for almost 2 hours, I had it and then I had to leave, and it ran
like this the whole time.
I really love that.
So, you press, when you press it on it mists, press it again, and then that will be the
intermittent and you will see it go off in about 30 seconds.
And then, here is the light switch.
You turn it on - and it's hard to see - but you can see on my hands it starts with red
and then it changes color.
And then if you want a certain color, you wait until it scrolls through - you press
it again, and then it will stay on that color.
Some of them, it says that you click through to pick your color, but this one you have
to wait until it scrolls through to pick the color.
See, it went off.
And in 30 seconds it's going to turn back on.
Now, I personally like to leave it running continuously, because after doing some research
and hearing some other people's views, when the diffuser goes on and off like that, your
oil is sitting for a little bit longer time and it's evaporating during that 30 seconds,
I know it's not a long time, but to me, I just like to run it continuously.
But, some people don't like to.
So, but, um, it is very quite, it is not loud at all.
It has that little gurgling noise, that I like to hear.
But this would be great in a kids room, um as a nightlight.
It would be great in the kitchen.
I used my little plug right here, because it has the usb adapter, and I plugged it into
the wall.
There is a picture there of what it looked like, and then I even took it out into the
car and this is what it looked like in the car.
Now, if you have an older car, like I do, get one of the usb, if you don't already,
get one of the usb adapters.
You can get them very cheap at Walgreens, Target, Amazon, anywhere like that, and it
goes right into your, um, your what's that thing called?
The lighter socket.
And my lighter socket is actually almost underneath the dashboard, and so when I plugged this
in and plugged the cord into it, it reached on the top - because as you can see one of
my coffee cup holders is up on the top by the vents, and this actually ran up to that
and I had extra room.
Now, if you're going to put it in your coffee cup holder, I would suggest when you put it
in, hold it up a little bit like this, so that when you put down you're not kind of
squishing the cord and, I should have shown you before hand, but there's a fan under here,
and with the little legs.
You do not, you want to make sure wherever you put it that there is enough room for your
air to get underneath here, because if it doesn't, then the air's not going to suck
up and you're not going to get any good misting that way.
So, [smelling diffuser] after using this little guy for awhile, I really do like it and I
think it's great, especially for the price, and I do give it a thumbs up.
I will put a link below where you can get it.
It is at InnoGear, and like I said, on Amazon.
And, right now, the sale price is $14.99.
It says that it usually retails for $25.99, but right now it is $14.99.
So I think that's a really really good deal.
It would be a great as a housewarming gift, or any kind of gift, an office gift, anything
like that, a teacher's gift.
This would be a great gift for a trucker, or a FedEx guy, or a mail carrier person or
anybody that is on the road constantly.
This is really great, because it doesn't take up a lot of room.
It is very small and compact, and this mist is really awesome . So, I really like it.
So, thank you InnoGear, for letting me review this, and I will probably be buying from you
guys soon.
