Topaz Yates back with another album review.
This time to Lil Yachty Teenage Emotions.
I am giving this one the red light because it is a terrible project from beginning to
end.
To be honest with you
Lil Yachty doesn't have the skill to beable to create a quality album let alone a quality
song.
And my issue here is why is it the less skilled emcees
always try to overcompensate for their lack of skills with doing more songs.
This project has 21 tracks and I would much rather just have one good song than all of
these bad tracks.
When you coming into a Lil Yachty track the first thing you do is throw away the thought
that you can get quality lyricism.
That just simply isn't going happen.
You may think you will get good flow but no.
This is why
he is one of the lowest of all the new emcees out.
He couldn't rap on beat if his life depended on it.
Many of his fans are going to try to argue that this is his style but it is not.
This is called being amature.
Really the only thing I can point at is sometimes he gets lucky with production.
But lets break this
project
down yet with it being 21 tracks I ofcourse won't be able to talk
about every single song.
So lets start with DN freestyle.
I already know his fans will
argue
that this is good for a freestyle.
As people percieve freestyle as getting in the booth and just spitting.
If you think this is that then you are a fool because if you focus then you can tell exactly
where he is punched in and cut.
