Marvel Legends SHOCKER sandman BAF Spider Man Wave Toy Action Figure Review

Welcome to comic toy reviews and this is a review
on Shocker he was part of the Spider-man action figure line
made by Toy Biz and it's compatible with Marvel Legends
is in the same scale really good but I think a
underestimated action figure that's not mentioned too much
and this is Shocker looks really good
his costume was designed by John Romita senior
and it's a little different on this action figure because he usually got the
yellow here on the pads
so is little altered on the costume but it just looks
so impressive this action figure and I think it's still the only action figure
in this scale
and check this out he had I found a
3 of these maybe there is 4 but it had a
those unfortunate gimmicks of your supposed to
put this in wrists and it shoots if you
have a figure like this and you put it like that in a display don't look good
and yeah there supposed to shootout press the button here
but overall the gauntlets
are not to messed up
with this gimmick depending how you pose it but
even though usually these gimmicks stink
Shocker is a character who is supposed to vibrate
that's his power the whole costume
has like these vibro shock powers now check this out you wind this up
this gimmick in the back hear it and you feel the figure here it's moving a
little bit
it vibrates its got
one more time I think that's an appropriate
gimmick I mean job well done on this
second feature because that's actually fitting
for the character and even though it stands out in the back
it doesn't get in the way of the forward view at all
I just wanna show you the attention to sculpt detail
this is all textured you could feel sculpting here
same thing here it's not painted on
could see the eyes over there you can
over here texture on the arms here's where the gimmick is but
the gauntlets are not to bed overall
and detailed
belt and over here even though the rest of the costume is just brown
you could see little like detail in here
all over the place and on the boot area articulation is a bit limited
due to the gimmicks but it's not too bad you got side to side
you do got some up and down
range a motion you do got the ball jointed shoulder so you got
up and down you got the in and out
got upper bicep cuts over here
there is no elbow articulation
nothing at the wrist nothing at the hand so there's nothing over here
but a the fist is closed
which is good because that's how it should be and
if you notice it it's nice that there is a little curve at the elbow
it's not straight so that really helps
in posing let's say you have poses like this
or maybe even like a pose downwards
it's not really too bad at all and
nothing here as you could imagine but you do get side to side
and the lower body is all the same articulation wise as
good Toy Biz figure In N Out up and down
upper thigh cuts
there you do got double knees so it
is articulated there right above the boot you got articulation
the feet not only can go up and down
you get side to side and toe articulation
so look at that up and down side to side toe articulation
so really lower body is articulated
really well the upper body
is restrained a bit but it does look good
shocker overall has two gimmicks one in the back is cool the one in the
hands not too cool but even though it gets in the way of the sculpt
detail I don't think this character is really too expensive on the secondary
market
demand wise I'm not sure exactly what is going for but if price is pretty good
would highly recommend getting shocker this is the only action figure in this scale
of character
if you get it it will look good on display
detailing is nice and
is a mainstay Spidey villain it's
good action figure overall and

you wanna know the real reason I made
this costume it wasn't to fight Spider-man or super villains
the real reason was ever go to the mall and then
you see those a vibrating
chairs that are supposed to give you like a massage
supposed to relax your back and things like that well
I got tired of paying for all of that I got tired of putting those dollar bills
in that machine only getting a few minutes so I designed this costume
so I could just relax and chill out wherever I go
whether it's on the road or the city or anything
just turn on costume and chill out yeah
that's the ticket now you want this costume don't you
but you can't have it and neither can Spider-man
it's mine
