There are two different handheld gimbals.
The first handheld gimbal is GoPro Karma Grip.
The second handheld gimbal is Feiyu G5.
We will be comparing both gimbals.
These products are what I will be doing a comparison review.
Are you ready to learn which one has better features?
Let's start with their cases.
It's about understanding their case sizes.
You can clearly see how big difference both cases are.
Karma case is obviously a bigger and thick case.
While the Feiyu case is small and thin.
Interesting.....
Okay let's talk about some benefits you will get out of using either gimbals.
We will focus on what both have that either doesn't have.
I would like to discuss their controls.
Feiyu has more control options than Karma Grip.
Feiyu's controls remind me of DJI Osmo's controls a bit.
Feiyu G5 has three different controls.
You can start filming by clicking a record.
You can change its setting to a video or a photo.
You will see the big circle on a Feiyu handheld.
You will need to click on the circle to turn its camera.
Once you stop holding the circle, its camera will return to the original direction.
Let me give you an example of me walking with Feiyu handheld.
I just saw this awesome place! It's so cool!
Once you are done signing, then just let it go.
It goes back to the original direction.
It's pretty simple, right?
There are many options you can easily play with the controls. 1 click time, 2 click times, and 3 click times.
There is no restriction in what I want to do with filming.
What about GoPro Karma Grip?
I see, it doesn't have any control button.
Thus, you cannot control its camera.
You will have to turn its handheld so you can change its direction.
It's quite hassle way to turn its camera while walking.
That is one of things I don't like about Karma Grip.
Otherwise, I find Karma Grip's control interesting.
It has the control that allows you to change GoPro's modes.
GoPro's modes: changing your setting such as in picture, time-lapse, burst, and video.
You can easily change the modes by clicking Karma's button.
That's pretty cool.
Also, if you turn the battery off, then GoPro will automatically turn off.
Karma Grip is designed for GoPro only.
That's what I like the best about Karma Grip.
While it conflicts what I do with filming. It restricts me to control its camera.
There are really limited controls with Karma Grip.
That's what aches my heart by knowing it's limited.
Feiyu G5 Handheld is a real thin, a good grip, and easy to hold.
It's a real nice grip.
I am feeling good about holding its grip.
It's a small handheld.
I really appreciate having a lightweight handheld.
It's not that heavy. It's an ideal for a long-term traveler.
It's nice handheld due to its shape and size.
It matches the size of my hands.
It has a weight that I can feel.
Okay let's focus on both stabilization quality.
(Information: Feiyu G5's battery can last up to 8 hours)
(Information: GoPro Karma Grip's battery can last up to 1 hour and half)
(Feiyu G5 has shaky videos and difficult to smooth a different direction)
In my opinion, I like Feiyu G5 better due to giving me more controls to do what I want to see in videos.
Justin and I are filmmakers.
It doesn't give us restrictions. It's the main reason we like Feiyu G5 better.
