of the fans lost interest in the manga version of the story.
The series is just so ahead, it’s kind of hard to remain interested in it.
However, we got DBS chapter 23 recently, and it’s quite good.
One reason to check out the Manga version is because its way gorier than the anime version.
Much more like Dragon Ball Z.
I won’t go through the entire manga, but I’ll highlight some of the changes it has
from the anime, and some cool moments.
I really liked the part where Zamasu’s arm gets blown off, it’s a cool throwback to
when Vegeta final flashed Cell’s arm, and just like Cell, Zamasu also regenerated it
in no time.
Also, they made it very clear that fused Zamasu is better than Super Saiyan Blue Goku and
Vegeta in almost all the sectors of fighting.
Both Goku and Vegeta failed to keep up with his speed; they couldn’t even see him coming.
The fight was quite different than the anime, and that’s basically the reason you read
the manga at this point.
To see things play out in a slightly different way.
They changed a few things around for the fusion too; Vegeta wasn’t willing to do it initially
much like the last time.
We got to know about the time limit stuff beforehand, they clearly explained how the
fusion works, and how they defused back in the BUU saga due to time limit not for Buu’s
magic or anything like that.
This wasn’t clearly clarified in the anime, so an extra bit of information your mind can
note down.
Our Kaioshin of course didn’t know about it, I mean he basically knows nothing and
does nothing.
Major reasons why Universe 7 has a low mortal level!
Okay, coming to the most interesting part of the Manga.
The Kaioshin actually mentions that Vegito’s power could already be greater than Beerus.
Now, some of you might find it shocking, but I completely agree with him, and I’m pretty
sure Vegito is more powerful than Beerus.
In a matter of fact, during ‘The Future Trunks’ arc, I did a power ranking where
Vegito was ranked 3rd while Beerus was ranked 4th.
About 90% of the fans disagreed with me back then, but now with The Kaioshin pointing it
out, I hope the situation would be different.
Just going by logic, Vegito is simply more powerful.
Toriyama most probably after battle of Gods said if Goku was a 5 Beerus would be 10 while
Whis would be a 15.
Since, then a lot has happened.
Both Goku and Vegeta got an even more powerful SSB form, trained in the hyperbolic time chamber.
In short, got stronger by many folds.
At the very least, they would be like 7, while Beerus would more or less remain at the same
level.
Goku and Vegeta combining their powers after all that has happened, without a question
would surpass the power of Beerus.
For some reason Beerus got overrated by the fans, maybe because he was the first with
such a huge power difference.
However, having that said, Even though Vegito is stronger than Beerus.
He would still not be able to defeat him, as the form lasts for a very short time.
Unless they can master it, and last for a whole hour or even more, I don’t see Vegito
defeating Beerus.
As Beerus is good enough to outlast the Vegito form.
DBS is entering an entirely new league, and I think it’s a matter of time before Goku
and Vegeta surpasses Beerus even individually.
That has to happen for the show to progress.
Well, make sure to let me know your thoughts on this down below!
Apart from that, in the manga there were some other rather cool moments like, Zamasu attacking
Goku and Vegeta with Cubes that looked totally like the Kachin Metal from DBZ, the hardest
metal.
Also, since I didn’t review the last manga chapter, I want to mention that Vegeta got
the Super Saiyan God form too, something that didn’t happen in the anime as of yet.
I am not really a big fan of that form, because of the way they look, lacks muscularity, but
many fans do which is why I think it was a cool move to give him that form, and I also
enjoyed it.
Like, I said before I read the manga to see things getting played out differently, and
this was just that.
So a cool little move!
Overall, I have to say Toyotaro is really putting in a lot of effort to keep us interested
in the manga, which is way behind the anime at this point, and I think we should appreciate
that.
