Topaz Yates back with another Album Review.
This time to XXXtentacion Revenge.
And this album is called revenge.
I am giving this album the low end yellow light because it simply isn't that good.
See this project is more taking a bunch of songs from other projects and dropping them
together as all of these songs never pass 3:30.
That is the mark of someone who is inexperienced and really don't have much to say.
Now that could be because he recorded all these songs before he went to jail so he needed
to drop them and move on, i don't know.
Yet I do believe this project is worth the listen in order to gather an understanding
of this upcoming artist.
The reason being is because he is one of the most versitile artists out there.
You may only know him for his commercialized trap songs but he literally can do any kind
of music just because.
But lets break this down from the top starting with Look At Me.
Now this is the song you probably know him best from because this is the one that took
off while he was in jail.
This is the song people claim drake stole for his More Life album as it helped him gain
the notoriety he has right now.
All I am going to say about it is that it is in deperate need of re recording as
it sounds like it was recorded with a radio shack
mic.
But that goes to show you that you don't need top of the line recording to gain notoriety.
Now am I saying to forget about quality music?
No.
You
have to focus on your path and no on this guys
who gained notoriety of music that sounds like
it was
recorded in a closet.
