El Pollo Loco® | Chicken Nacho Overstuffed Quesadilla Review! 🐔🧀

YouTube and social media keep this out guys it's Ian K back again with
another one for ya out and about after swinging by my local el pollo loco to pick
up one of their brand-new overstuffed quesadillas and being that they've got a
few different versions available on the menu right now I thought I'd scoop up
the most interesting one at least to me to give you guys a look now I don't know
about you guys but the thought about having a virtual plate of nachos on the inside
of an overstuffed toasted tortilla does sound pretty tasty to me so we're
going to be taking a look at the chicken nacho version of these overstuffed
quesadillas to see exactly how bomb sexy it is and judging by the picture at
least it sure does look pretty tasty so let's not waste any more time guys
before I take that first bite of this all-new chicken nacho overstuffed quesadilla
and give you my thoughts like I always do let's get right up on it first for
that closer look let's peep this out
it's crazy you can taste here at El Pollo Loco with their latest promo their
overstuffed quesadilla and in this case it's the chicken nacho version but I do
have to say right off the bat guys this is sure reminding me of the crunchwrap
supreme from Taco Bell you guys let me know by dropping those comments down
below diggin' the toasted presentation the tortilla looks very crispy and I do
have to say it does look pretty hefty if not in size as you can see by my palm
going over this here right now it's a pretty decent size indeed the thickness
of it is looking pretty good as well guys a lot of goodness packed on the
inside of this and speaking of the inside let's take a closer look at it
I've got this split down the middle here and there is a lot of el pollo loco
goodness on the inside of this one here guys looking pretty tasty
you've got a combination of their fire grilled chicken guacamole sour cream
pickled jalapenos a tostada shell I'm thinking some pieces of tostada at least
tortilla and we've got some pico de gallo normally in there of course that's
86'd some cheese and some pinto beans but even without that missing Pico this
thing is really heavy guys definitely very very heavy on this one here but I'm
definitely okay with that because I'm thinking this is going to be a very
hearty bite but there you go it's the all-new chicken nacho overstuffed
quesadilla here at El Pollo Loco let's peep out this flavor yeah I'm
already digging the presentation of this one guys the pickled jalapenos you can
see on the ends over there and a little bit in the middle are coming through
loud and clear along with the sour cream and all the other goodness on the inside
of this one along with the signature fire grilled chicken let's give this one
a go it's the all-new chicken nacho overstuffed quesadilla here at el pollo loco
I'm definitely going in on that pickled jalapeno first thing
mmm this definitely has some sizzle on the back end guys to go with a nice flavor of the pickled
jalapenos themselves and the cool thing about this also is that it is a full
tostada on the bottom of it along with the cheese that you can see coming up
along the sides right over there it's very reminiscent of the crunchwrap
supreme over at taco bell it's really giving me that feeling right now but the
quality of the ingredients on this one is definitely to stand out
mmm the sour cream itself is not really killing the overall flavor of the pickled jalapenos
and that's actually a good thing because the light sizzle that these jalapenos
are giving in general does begin to kind of pull back a little bit as you're
eating it there so when you mix that sour cream along with the guacamole and
along with everything else in here you're getting a very well-rounded
flavor profile and it's just freaking delicious guys it really is got to love
that tostada shell on the bottom guys it's still holding its own crunch wise
even with everything else on the inside of this and while like I said this does
remind me of the Crunchwrap supreme from Taco Bell it is absolutely el pollo loco
through and through without being reminded of those 7 familiar
ingredients from the other guys it really is a pretty tasty overstuffed
quesadilla at least it is overstuffed in my opinion but what do you guys think
does this new chicken nacho overstuffed quesadilla at el pollo loco
entice you to swing on over and give it a try does it look pretty good
to you drop those comments down below very curious to hear your thoughts on
this one and that's for the overall score on this one on that bomb sexy for
your face scale of 1 to 10 the chicken nacho overstuffed quesadilla here at el pollo loco
is going to get a very well-deserved
9 out of 10 while it's definitely hearty and flavorful with every bite I do think the price on this
one is just a little bit higher than it needs to be considering the other guys
usually offer a combo with two other items and a drink for less than the cost
of what this is by itself but don't get me wrong because this is still pretty tasty
and I do recommend giving it a shot and that's it for this episode of peep this
