Topaz Yates back with another daily review.
This time to Kanye West featuring the Migos and Young Thug Hold Tight.
I am giving this one the yellow light because it is a rather solid song here.
I like that production and how he is using the energy that the Migos and Young Thug bring
to the table and turning it into quality music.
That is something great producers do, they take what ever talent is around them and mold
it into something dope.
Yet it is the content which I am
not big on.
What Kanye is trying to do with this song is say when people come up
and be successful people classify it as being white.
And I feel that as something people need to get over.
Just because you are doing your thing in the industry doesn't mean you
are trying to be white.
And honestly I never heard anyone say the migos are trying to
be white.
Yet Kanye is trying to twist
the criticisms he has gotten into this to make it seem his criticisms aren't valid.
The issue people have with you isn't that you are acting white, its when
you meet
with Donald Trump and say things like
trying to stop black on
black crime non sense.
