we always keep it in race
but today
we're starting
with the tuning switched off
so we can experience
the C43 without tuning
we're starting with
everything in its softest setting
so the engine in comfort
the suspension, gearbox
the exhaust
because this car does that really well
the C43 is a really nice daily driver
it's super comfortable
it's quiet
and that's what sets this AMG light
apart from the normal AMG's
those are always 'on'
always hard and loud
a bit on edge
and this C43 is much more
a two faced car
in the front of this
Mercedes AMG C43
is the 3.0 V6 BiTurbo
with 367 HP and 520 Nm
which is really nice already
and it has 4Matic as standard
as opposed to the C63 that doesn't
and when you want to
make this C43 even more fun
you open the exhaust valves
because this car has
the performance exhaust
put it in sport plus
manual mode
you immediately hear
that exhaust coming to life
and you get a lovely 6 cilinder sound
really nice and loud bangs
on the upshift
and it's quite quick
but if you want even more fun
you have to switch on the app
by RaceChip
and then it becomes
a serious competitor
to a standard C63 AMG
because now, in Race mode
it has 434 HP and 643 Nm
and especially that torque
is a lot!
and you really feel that
when you have the app
switched on
and RaceChip
have made this showcar
a little more interesting for us
we have KW springs
which means it sits a bit lower
and is a bit more firm
but you can still use
the AMG drive control system
for comfort, sport and sport plus
for the damping
this means that this car
has a near perfect setup
when it comes to suspension
we're now in sport plus
the most firm setting
I'll switch to comfort
and this is one of the best
setups I've ever experienced
because it's comfortable
but also firm
without being bouncy or shaky
they've done an excellent job
the RaceChip slogan
is 'Simply Faster'
"Einfach Schneller"
but that's not the only thing
they've done with this car
it also has wheels by HRE Wheels
forged ones
in sort of an anthracite color
it looks really good
they fit the car well
especially with that wrap
matte grey with those black lines
it really ties it together
this RaceChip version
of the Mercedes AMG C43 4Matic
is really close
to a standard C63 AMG
and that's really nice
especially because this car
is much better for daily use
with that 4Matic system
coping with that power
in all circumstances
and it's a lot more accessible
I think it's a very original choice
by RaceChip
to go for a C43 AMG showcar
instead of a C63 AMG
there's a bit more potential in here
and it's a lot more obtainable
so if you're watching this
and you have a C43 AMG
or you're planning on buying one
I can recommend to go for
this RaceChip Ultimate connect
because the power is great
it works great
it's smooth
the power delivery is lovely
and this RaceChip C43 AMG
could be sort of a sneak preview
a taste
of what the C63 AMG
