Today we have a look at the Nicki Minaj Challenge!
Nicki Minaj! She’s a famous person…for…uhhhh…I think she’s famous because of her butt or
something like that? Her butt is pretty big and when I say big…I mean BIG!! Tom Hanks
BIG. Ron Jermey BIG! Jonah hill circa 2008 big! Yeah, see what I’m talking about?
Now I would be lying if I said that I secretly didn’t enjoy some of her music And I may
or may not know her verse on the Kanye West song Monster by heart!
But i’m not here to talk about my secret love of mainstream rap. Thats a whole different
video for a whole different day.
I am here to talk about the #nickiminajchallenge? You may be wondering to yourself, what exactly
is the nicki minaj challenge? If you’re anything like me at first you may think it
is the process of wiping that gigantic ass cleanly. That must be a challenge. I mean
how is it physically possible?! Her hands can only reach so far and that thing is big.
There is no way in the world that she can reach all the way around to clean it properly.
I’m telling you she has a gigantic bill for laundry with all the skid marks she’s
leaving behind. No pun intended!
But I digress.
The nicki minaj challenge is something entirely different.
On June 13th, 2017 nicki minaj recorded a video and posted it to her instagram. in the
video she is in the process of boarding a jet from London to Prague. For some reason
She decides to show everybody the process in a very interesting way.
Now in the video she claims that I can’t spell Prague, I mean really Nicki? Prague?
I did finish high school after all, That is rather insulting. Prague. P r o g…shit,
thats not right. Umm. P r o g e u e…god damnit, that’s not right either. You know
what? She’s right. I can’t spell it. Come to think of it, I don’t even know what a
Prague is? Is it an animal, is it a place, is it a disease or something? You know what?
Whatever. Doesn’t matter.
And just a quick little observation, back to the whole butt whipping thing. I think
I realized how she does it. Look at the length of her hair? Coincidence? I think not. Shampoo
is much cheaper than new thongs. Just sayin!
After Nicki posted the video, it received millions of views and hundreds of thousands
of likes. Why? I don’t know exactly but… I think it has something to do with her butt.
Shortly after the original upload people began to parody the original video. With Nicki herself
adding fuel to the fire by reposting some of the parodies her fans created.
Soon the #nickiminajchallenge was born! With hundreds of people creating their own versions
of the videos, And I’m not gonna lie, some of the remixes are pretty effin funny.

The trend got so popular that one of the Kardashian sisters even made a parody of it themselves.
Not the one that made the sex tape, or the big one who might be adopted, but the one
who’s dad became a mom. But not the one who is super skinny and may or may not be
doing cocaine. The other one who looks like she might have a couple STDS and big lips.
yeah that one right there.
You know something is either popular or has a big black penis when a Kardashian starts
to do it. I mean cmon, it’s true. Maybe slightly offensive, but damn true.
So there you have it! What started off as a video created by a diva to show off her
ass, has turned into a social media trend that has resulted in some funny parodies!
