Topaz Yates back with another daily review.
This time to Yelawolf Row Your Boat.
I am giving this one the green light because it is fire on every level.
Starting with that production as this is something that I have said for years.
If you were to apply musicianship to your beats it can take it to another level.
As this obviously has live guitar as shown in the video.
But what really makes this dope is how you can enjoy it without getting deep into it.
For those of you who aren't willing to delve deep into lyricism and meanings you can merely
listen and enjoy this track.
Yet if you are anything like me you want to breakdown everything you hear.
As this song is talking about having your own boat where you could go in your own direction
as an way to explain individuality.
While his verses talk about the things in this world that prevents such.
As he starts off talking about religion and this isn't anything new to
this world.
Many people have said how the religious texts are written it comes off as controlling and
different from the ancient text.
Then he talks about fear of change and this is deep because we see
this consistently.
People get to a point where they feel they can't change so what
ever they own end up owning them.
When that
is completely false, if you see something that needs
to
be changed with you then you should go for it.
Always keep in mind your responsibilities and
the consequences for your actions.
Yet if you are ready for such then go ahead.
