Topaz Yates back with another album review.
This time to Yo Gotti Gotti Made It.
As this is his collaboration album with Mike Will Made It and I think they went in the
completely wrong direction with this.
As it did make sense because the most popular productions that Mike Will Made It has put
out recently has been that dry commercialized trap rap.
He has been able to put acts on like Rae Sremmurd with it.
And with Yo Gotti being a trap rapper that is obviously the direction they decided to
take making it flawed out the jump.
Keep in mind mike will made it is versitile enough of a producer to be able to make quality
productions as well but they chose to
go in this direction or he simply didn't want to give those.
So lets start with the intro Legacy which is my favorite song of all of the songs on
this project.
This is because the trap energy comes together rather well here.
As Yo
Gotti is speaking on the legacy he wants to leave.
Seeing as though he is a trap rapper ofcourse everything comes back
to trapping.
So he wants to leave the legacy of being a trapper
but also gives shouts
out
to legends like who is his favorite rapper
and Big
Meech who is his favorite trapper.
As it comes off as their legacy
lives on through him.
