As 80 fighters starts fighting for Survival.
Quick rule check, there’s a time limit of 48 minutes, the central polar will be the
indicator of time here, which will keep lowering with the passage of time till it gets leveled
with the stage.
At the end o the 48 minutes, the Universe with the highest number of survivors will
win.
However, what will happen in case of a complex ending has not been explained.
What if multiple Universes have equal number of survivors at the end of 48 minutes?
Maybe they will extend time, maybe they will change the rule to knockouts or something
like that if it comes down to it.
Goku’s attention is set to Jiren and Toppo.
Also, maybe he would love to fight with Hit too, since Hit got better of him in both of
their encounters.
So Goku doesn’t really care much about other fighters or he isn’t really considering
anyone else to be a legit threat, but those other warriors are coming in the way, and
DBS for keeping us the audiences hooked will reserve the major clashes for later part of
the battle royal.
For now the teasing will continue.
Goku was blocked by the Spy Dude of U4 when he was trying to approach Toppo, but we see
Goku was quite comfortably able to take care of him in his base form.
Then, there was this stare battle between Goku and Jiren, but before anything could
happen Nink from Universe 4 cockblocks them, as he decides to take out Goku along with
himself.
So, other Universes are already pointing out which Warriors are the most dangerous, and
we might see more self-destructive plans like this.
We might see some weaker warrior self destruction to take out a strong one from another Universe,
yes killing will get you disqualified, but if a low level fighter could take someone
out that way that would be totally worth it.
Anyways in this case the plan fails, and Nink falls as Goku goes SSB at the verge of falling
throwing him off.
He was holding back because he doesn’t want to waste his energy just yet, so he immediately
powered down to base once he was done with Nink.
There was only one other elimination in this episode, and it was Lilibeau from Universe
`10.
She is an idiotic fighter, totally not fit for a hardcore occasion like this.
She had one hack which she could use to survive for a long time, that is due to having wings
she was allowed fly back into the ring contrary to the usual no flying rule, but the big moment
hit her so hard she kept moaning and screaming, and lost her mind.
Basil was the one to eliminate Libieau, and he has been very impressive this episode.
He is really a refreshing fighter, the way he uses ki shots from his legs is fun to watch.
Basil also got the better of the encounter against Napapa although he wasn’t able to
eliminate him.
Universe 9 and 10 overall looks really weak, but from the looks of it U9 might just have
a better team than U10.
However, we also found out that the fighters aren’t getting killed right away when they
are thrown out of the stage, but the Zeno’s have a GodPad with them where they are marking
out the eliminated fighters.
So, I wonder if a Universe has all their fighters eliminated will they get destroyed right away
or not.
If not, those assumptions about Zenos changing their mind about destroying at the end of
the tournament might be true.
On the other hand, Toppo and Jiren didn’t face any real threat as of yet.
Jiren especially is catching everyone’s attention; pretty sure Zenos over there were
having orgasms over him.
This dude just stands there like a badass he knows his moving game, the ki blasts don’t
want to mess with him, and his dominant vibe can be felt, no one even wants to mess with
him.
He is just scaring warriors away just by giving looks.
Was wondering if Vegeta was going to try to attack him too, but I think Vegeta will end
up clashing with Toppo as Goku will eventually take Jiren.
Universe 3 had an intense start, causing chaos on the stage, grabbing everyone’s attention.
They planned too much before hand, survival tactics, modifying robots or what not, but
the problem is in the Grandest Stage of them all, your plan will never play out 100% perfectly,
and the fighters must have natural talent and ability to adapt, and work accordingly,
but it seems like U3 robots are too systematic.
Hit was the first to stop it like a badass, followed by Basil.
Yeah, they didn’t really have a plan B. Plan Failed, and it’s not looking good for
U3 at this moment.
I loved how Hit suddenly smashed him, this guy is just awesome to watch.
However, Gohan as a leader isn’t really doing that well, he was never really a leader
material.
By the way, anyone else wouldn’t be able to make too much difference anyways.
With the likes of Vegeta and Frieza in the team, it’s impossible to follow a pre-defined
plan; the egos are just too big.
Vegeta, Frieza, Android 17, 18 and of course Goku were the ones to right away ignore their
leader.
I find it funny how Goku made his son Gohan the leader, said he trusts him and the first
thing he does is not give a single fu*k about what he has to say.
Anyways Piccolo, Gohan, Krillin, Master Roshi and Tien sticks to the original plan, and
this might be a huge difference maker.
Someone from that stronger batch might get eliminated before the likes of Krillin due
to being too cocky, while these guys might last for a long time.
This tournament isn’t about displaying how powerful you are right from the beginning,
it’s about how long you can survive, and the stronger half couldn’t sacrifice their
natural instinct to fight for the purpose of this tournament.
So, I bet some of them will have to pay the price.
My guess would be that Android 18 will be the one to get eliminated first from Universe
7, I do however want to see 17 and 18 do some combo attacks before or if that happens.
From here, Tien is likely to get eliminated fast.
This episode was entertaining, had a lot of action, but somewhere along the line it felt
a bit scattered.
I don’t even know what my mind desired with so so much on the table.
My guess is things will start looking more interesting, and involving from episode 99,
once most of the Jobbers get cleaned.
Oh!
And one more thing!
Everything you saw in this episode took place within only a minute, yeap still 47 minutes
to go.
I totally love that they got the Dragon Ball Z pacing back, most of the previous DBS arc
was extremely rushed going against the original style of DBZ.
It was over before I could even get invested in it, and it does make sense in a way.
Because, most of these movements are ftl, since a long time normal human eye couldn’t
see the movements of this fighter, even back in the early DBZ also actually right from
Dragon Ball days.
So, if you consider the fact, it’s slowed down for our eyes but in their reality a lot
of things are happening within seconds.
Also, not all but most of the actions are taking place at the same time, which is shown
to us separately from the perspective of different fighters.
Instead of whining what you have to understand, these faster than light fighter can get more
stuff done than you can imagine in this 48 minutes.
When you slow down these actions for us to understand, it’s obviously going to take
a lot more than just 48 actual minutes.
Beside, no non-retarded person would want to this to end in 2-3 episodes.
Well guys, that’s about all for now.
