Bliss Is Your Life
The Alexa Bliss “This Is Your Life” segment from the May 29th edition of Monday Night
Raw was hailed by many as the worst segment in the history of the show. I have to disagree
on that one [IMAGE]. The segment was buried by WWE the following week and has become a
joke in the company. Alexa Bliss was on Sam Robert’s podcast this week, and Bliss said
about This Is Your Life:
“I didn’t really have any opinion on it whether it would be bad or good. I was just
really excited to have fun with it and throw the little dolls and trophies off the table
and just kind of make fun of Bayley in the best way I could. I know it has been deemed
the worst segment in RAW history, so I guess that’s always something, I guess, I can
hang my hat on!”

This summer’s Mae Young Classic has three more rumoured names to be joining the tournament.
According to Squared Circle Sirens, former Heart of SHIMMER champion Nicole Savoy, Nikki
Bella's trainer Shayna Baszler, and current SHIMMER Champion Mercedes Martinez are all
in Florida undergoing medical testing. Other rumoured names include former TNA Knockouts
Lei'D Tapa, Marti Belle and Santana Garrett.
In other Mae Young Classic news, TopRopePress are reporting that Progress and WCPW star
Nixon Newell has suffered an ACL injury that will sideline her for some time. With the
tapings just a few days away, it seems unlikely that Newell will be competing in the tournament.
Raw Ratings and Results
The Raw rating was up this week despite some heavy competition from from the Home Run Derby,
doing just over 3 million viewers. I loved this week’s episode of Raw, but only 31%
of you agreed with me, with 57% thinking it was Cor.
Dixie Teasing WWE Debut?
Former TNA President Dixie Carter made her WWE television debut on Monday’s Kurt Angle
documentary, talking about the current Raw GM’s time in the company. Since then, many
have speculated that she could be connected to Angle’s secret text messages, but there
has been no announcement that Carter has signed a deal with the company outside of the WWE
Network appearance.
Angle revealed on Raw that next week the subject of his texts will come out in public, and
Raw just so happens to emanate from Carter’s home town of Nashville. One fan asked Carter
if she would be close by and she replied:
“Pretty close.”
Other unconfirmed rumours and speculation for Monday have included the return of Stephanie
McMahon and Jason Jordan being revealed as Kurt’s illegitimate son - hence the solo
push of Chad Gable - but one former WWE writer has been on Twitter to tell us not to get
too excited.
“Kurt's revealing his big secret next week? CAN NOT WAIT for the outrage when this daddy
of a s*** sandwich is dropped.”
