Topaz Yates back with another album review.
This time to French Montana Jungle Rules and I am giving this one the red light.
As this is him running the formula that I have spoken out against for a very long time.
Where labels come to you and tell you that you need to make this amount of songs for
this fan base, this amount of songs for this fan base, and this many for your core fan
base.
See this has been played out for quite some time since when people only had singles to
determine if they are going to buy the album.
These days people listen to everything before they buy it so why buy if you are only going
to like one song off the entire project?
Instead you need to focus on one solid album.
He does this so strategically that you can organize all these songs like your singles.
These songs were the ones leaked out earlier on Apple Music to sell the album.
Those songs were Jump, Bring Dem Things, and No Pressure.
I have already reviewed each of these songs and you can watch them in my French Montana
playlist to gather a better understanding of how I feel about this entire album.
The next group of songs would be that Drake psudo dancehall
and
this annoys me.
Reason being is
that this
song
is more for those for struggle to
have female fan base
related songs.
These types
of tracks
come ready made
for such.
