Topaz Yates back with another album review.
This time to Tyler the Creator Scum Fuck Flower Boy.
I am giving this one the yellow light because there are alot of aspects about it that I
like.
I like how well written it is as many tracks are connected.
I also like the production as he focuses more on guiding musicians than making the dry beats
he makes.
Now many people would say if you like how its written and liked the music then you like
the project, NO.
See there is more to this and things like delivery and flow to go along with the complexity
that he attempted here is what brings this down.
Honestly I see this like watching a thor movie.
They weren't particularly great but people went to see it because it was connected with
the marvel cinematic universe.
Now before we break this down realize that I have already reviewed one song in particualar
911/ Mr Lonely.
So to get a better understanding you should peep that out.
But lets go ahead and break this down starting with the song See You Again where here Tyler
is talking about having his gay lover on his mind
at all times.
Now a lot of people are denying this thinking that everything Tyler says is a joke but this
was way too complex and doesn't come off as such.
Now
how can he be talking about a man here when
he isn't
giving
any specifics?
You have to piece
it together with what
he said
on glitter.
He
said that songs 4,5, and 7 are for you while song 8 is
for me.
