The Bulgarian Dream “The American Dream: the ideal by which
equality of opportunity is available to any American, allowing the highest aspirations
and goals to be achieved.”
Also, this guy.
The American Dream is the idea that anyone from around the world can go to the United
States and make a life for themselves.
And despite many proclamations of its demise, one little lad from Bulgaria just proved it’s
still alive: “Cheers 🍺 to a normal day with my husband
@rusevig mowing the lawn in his speedos 😳 hopefully the Nashville neighbors don't mind the Bulgarian
Brute & all his handsomeness 😂😂😂😍🙌🏽 You missed a few bits of awesomeness there,
Lana.
Rusev isn’t just mowing the lawn in speedos.
He’s mowing the lawn in speedos, drinking a beer and smoking a cigar with Lana.
First Paul Heyman Girl?
Two other people living the high-life are the rather unlikely couple of Paul Heyman
and Summer Rae, who spent yesterday at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas for a photoshoot.
“As @JRsBBQ would say, "Business just picked up" Look who just strolled onto our #HustleBootyTempTats
supermodel set!”
With a link to Summer Rae’s Instagram post of her wearing an ‘I’m a Paul Heyman Girl’
t-shirt.
Summer has been out with injury since last year’s Brand Split, but was apparently medically
cleared for an in-ring return months ago.
She now appears to be working with Heyman’s Looking4Larry agency following her inclusion
into this year’s Maxim Hot 100 list.
Great Balls Of Fire Results Leaked?
This next story may contain spoilers for this Sunday’s Great Balls of Fire pay-per-view.
Or...it might just make you even more confused over what WWE have planned for the next several
months.
I don’t know.
I don’t think anyone does.
Not even Vince McMahon.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported last week that the original main event for
Summerslam has been changed from Brock Lesnar vs Braun Strowman for the Universal title,
to Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns - bringing forward their big planned Wrestlemania 34
match by 7 months.
Dave Meltzer said on Wednesday’s Wrestling Observer Radio that he hasn’t heard anything
different since.
Billi Bhatti over at Sportskeeda, however - who has been right on numerous occasions
in the last several months - is reporting that the Summerslam main event is still Brock
Lesnar vs Braun Strowman, and that Lesnar will be retaining against Joe this Sunday,
along with Strowman beating Reigns in their Ambulance Match, to set that up.
Bhatti goes onto say that there were plans for a Fatal 4-Way at Summerslam at one point,
with Lesnar defending against Strowman, Finn Balor and Seth Rollins, and that isn’t off
the table - but what definitely won’t be happening (contrary to Meltzer’s reports)
is Reigns vs Lesnar next month.
Sportskeeda reports that match is still set to main event Wrestlemania 34, and “It’s
the one thing the old man (Vince McMahon) has set in stone and not one person would
even waste any time pitching, just to be shot down in a creative meeting.
It is what it is.”
Wrestling News World, however - so take this with a pinch of salt - are reporting the finish
to Lesnar vs Joe have been “changed several times”, because of Vince McMahon’s indecision,
and that the lineups for Summerslam and Wrestlemania are flip-flopping as a result.
They claim triple threat matches with Lesnar, Joe and Strowman or Lesnar, Joe and Reigns
at Summerslam have both been discussed.
To paraphrase Sting’s promo just before he decided to live in WCW’s attic for a
year - “the only thing that’s for sure about Vince McMahon’s long-term booking
plans, is that nothing’s for sure.”
What does that mean for Brock Lesnar’s reportedly scrapped title match?
And which major New Japan star was backstage at Raw and Smackdown this week?
