Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 4 "The Spoils of War" Review

Hello everyone.
“This Spoils of War” has been my favourite episode so far in this season.
It looks like the leaked episode 4 script was 100% correct.

So, without any further delay, let’s take a look at this episode.
As I’ve said before, Cersei’s alliance with the Iron Bank totally depends on Tyrell's
gold, and it looks like that Alliance will end before it even begun.
I literally had goose bumps when Dany arrived on Drogon, attacked the Lannister armies and
burned their spoils of war.
And as much fun as it was watching Drogon burn the Tyrell Gold and food, I think it
would have been smarter if Dany took the food and gold for her army instead of destroying
it completely because when the winter reaches the south, they will need it.
BTW, does anyone else think that our Jonaerys or Stargaryen ship has started to sail in
this episode?

I really wanna see which ship name is more popular.
Jon and Dany had a moment in the cave and then later Ser Davos teased Jon about it.
And even though Jon didn’t agree to bend the knee, he did say it was because of his
people.
Because they will never accept a southern ruler.
Which implies that if it was upto him, he would have done that already..
Just kidding..
And did you see the look on Jon's face when Dany was yelling at Tyrion?
Remember the feeling when your friend is being scolded by their parents and you pretend to
not hear anything or something like it.
It was really funny.
In the cave, you can see some symbols drawn by the children of the Forest.
You could see the Theta looking symbol the Others drew in season 1.
Then there was the spiral type symbol the Whitewalkers drew when they killed the Night's
watch in season 2, and when the children turned the Night King in season 6, the stones were
arranged in same pattern.
And then you can see 5 children of the forest drawn above and 3 first men in their armor
carrying their weapons drawn below them.
There is that spiral and theta symbol again below the first men.
You can also see an eye drawn between the 3 first men.
Are you thinking what I am thinking?
Could this indicate the 3 eyed raven?
Maybe the Children were trying tell something.
Maybe this is their way of telling everyone that the first men need the three eyed raven?

Also, did you notice how many times they keep bringing up Naath in this season?
Do you think it means something?
Remember how I said previously that someone, probably Varys betrayed Dany?
Euron knew exactly where to find Yara’s ships and when to attack the unsullied.
There's a popular theory going around that Missendei might be the one to betray Dany.
I am not so sure about this theory.
What about you?
Let's head over to the North now.
It seems like LF started sucking upto the brother he thinks will become the King in
the north now.
The trueborn son of Ned Stark.
Well, that didn't take long.
LF doesn't waste any time.
He gave Bran the Valyrian steel dagger which Bran gave to Arya.
LF probably thought that Bran will be easier to manipulate than Jon.
That's why he said all these things about Cat.
Bran Stark might have fallen into his trap, but the three Eyed Raven Bran won't.
Bran is not Bran anymore.
That's a really scary thought.
Atleast Sansa knows LF well enough to know he is upto something.
I think in her own way, Sansa is trying to protect her siblings from LF.
Hopefully, what I predicted in my Sansa's journey video will come true.
Another thing I noticed was that LF said exactly what I had said in my "who sent the catspaw
video, "In a way that dagger made you what you are today.
Forced from your home, driven out to the wilds beyond the wall."
The way Bran asks, "Do you know who this belong to?"
It feels like he already knows.
But I can't say for sure if he knows that the Dagger once belonged to LF, or if it's
someone else who sent the Catspaw.
But the way he said, "Chaos is a ladder," it seems like Bran already knows a lot about
LF.
BTW, I still think that dagger is really important.
Arya will do something important with it.
And she already defeated Brienne.
I think she is the best fighter at Winterfell right now.
She can start training the young boys and girls at Winterfell.
We got to see another Stark reunion in this episode.
At least this reunion was warmer than Bran and Sansa's reunion.
Maisie and Sophie's chemistry is so good off screen, it reflected in the Arya and Sansa
reunion onscreen.
Did you also notice that Bran showed more emotions when he met Arya than he did when
he met Sansa?
Although, it could have been because he had some rest and a warm place to sleep in.
And did you see the look on Sansa's face when Bran and Arya were talking.
She was probably thinking "Am I the only normal one in this family now?"
Just Kidding.
Arya’s training with Brienne was my favourite moment of this entire season let alone this
episode.
Arya was able to hit Brienne 4 times, while Brienne was only able to hit her once.
So, in my opinion, Arya was the obvious winner in this fight.
This is what I’ve been expecting to see in the Arya vs. Waif fight.
Better late than never.
My second favorite scene of this episode was Drogon's arrival on the battlefield.

I want to see Ghost too.
It was nice seeing Nymeria again, but I also want to see Jon and Ghost moments.
I really hope he won’t kill Ghost too.
