- Hi, loves, how's it going?
It's Ann.
Welcome back to my channel.
Today we are going to work with Plan With Me
for September 2017.
I cannot believe September is almost here already.
I can't believe that I'm working on September.
A lot of you guys requested for back to school,
and although, in my heart, I feel like it's still summer,
I am going to do this theme for you.
Before I get started, I just want to fill you in
on what's going on with Plan With Ann.
If you are new to my channel
and if you're just hearing about this,
I am creating the ideal journal for the journaling community
and I will need your help.
So, I am on to my last three polls.
We are going to vote for a journal size,
we're going to vote for a cover logo,
and then a sticker package.
So, if you want to be a part of my tribe,
be a part of this process, the link is below this video.
Click on the link below this video
and then put in your votes.
Other than that, let's go ahead and get started
with today's Plan With Me.
All right, so here is a quick little recap
of my August spread.
I went for an ice cream theme,
and I really love how playful and colorful this turned out.
I was on to my last few pages for this journal,
so I didn't have much to work with.
I played around with a more simple layout
and I didn't find it as effective or conducive
as I would hope for it to be.
I'm still happy that I experimented with this
so that way, I know what works and what don't.
On to the September spread, I went ahead
and sketched out what I wanted in pencil,
and now, I'm going over with my black pen.
I forgot to mention that I got the same planner again,
which I will leave in the detail section below this video.
If you watched my last styling journal video,
I actually bought the smaller version of this journal,
and the paper was really, really thin.
I didn't like it at all so I went back
and got my original master journal.
For my back to school theme, I'm drawing a shelf
where the number can sit on top of,
and then on the sides,
I have some books in gray, black, and pink.
On the bottom, I'm going to draw my black desk
and my little cactus plant that I usually keep
on top of my desk.
(bright music)
Over on the right side, I'm drawing out the word September,
and I decided to draw a book opening up,
almost like Harry Potter or Fantasia.
I don't know, I just wanted to have a book open up
with stars bursting out.
This is almost like a science-themed book,
so I thought it looks pretty cute.
What do you guys think?
I'm trying to keep the color very simple and minimal.
So, on the left side, I have a color palette
of black, gray, and pink, and then, for the stars,
I'm adding a little yellow to it.

If you know me by now,
you know that I like to plan by the weeks
instead of doing daily planning,
so I'm breaking this into sections.
And this is a new layout that I'm trying out for this month.
I love experimenting with new layouts.
So, on here, I drew six rectangles all together,
and then on top, I have little random things
that you would usually put on top of a bookshelf
or in a bookshelf.
When I was sketching this out,
I didn't have anything particular in mind,
but I really love how it's all coming together.
Making this gives me the same satisfaction
as if I'm decorating a bedroom or something.

On these next couple of pages,
I want to dedicate it to love.
As you know, there's always sad news
going around in this world.
It's an endless cycle that we live in.
I believe when darkness overcome a country or the world,
it opens opportunities for us to unite and work together.
If you are watching this far into the video,
leave a heart and prayer emoji,
and I would love to know what you think
the most effective way to love is.
Leave it in the comment section below this video.
I'll start by saying that if you seek internally
and find the kindness in yourself,
what you find is what you give out.
If we can treat ourselves with kind thoughts,
we'll be able to view others
in a more forgiving and loving way.

In my last Plan With Me,
I haven't done a workout log for a while,
so I wanted to focus on that with this Plan With Me.
I wanted to do something with circles,
and so, I thought this would be a fun way
to schedule in my workout plans.
If you look closely, I drew out some stick figures
of workouts that I have tried,
and that I want to keep as a log,
and I think I did pretty well.
I'm hoping, when I look back, I will understand what I drew,
but so far, not so bad, right?
(bright music)
All right, so we are all done with September,
and I love the theme that you guys picked out.
It turned out so fun.
I feel like each of the section in this month
really stood out, and they just all look so equally nice.
I'm really excited to start filling them out,
and I hope you feel the same way about this.
Let me know your thoughts,
and give this video a thumbs up
if you enjoy this theme and this month.
