JAYSTEPHER with Amusement Park Hot Dog Van
by Lego Friends.
Set number 41129.
Contains 243 pieces.
Recommended building ages are 6 through 12.
From what we can see from the colorful box art,
this is one awesome set.
Stephanie and Nate are included.
This looks like one fun build.
We shall see.
Typical Friends box.
They got to fight.
Okay.
It was packed a bit tight.
There are two numbered bags,
a set of instructions,
and a set of stickers.
I was hoping these were printed
on the bricks.
Looks like a nice selection of parts.
Let's take a closer look at the Amusement Park Hot Dog Van.
On the left, we have Stephanie.
On the right, we have Nate.
Both their torsos are printed.
The top of Stephanie's hair piece
is equipped with a slot for an accessory.
We even have a hot dog costume.
Let's put it on Nate.
First he's going to have to shave his hair off.
So he can slip on the costume.
Looks like he can barley see out of it.
It's covering his mouth.
The costume does work with standard Lego minifigures.
Nate's had enough of wearing the hot dog costume
and getting embarrassed.
So let's have his hair grow back out.
Here the various accessories that can be assembled.
There is a small sign on the far left
as well as a curved brick for a mirror.
These two elements were supposed to have stickers that I choose not to put on.
Here we have a camera booth.
There's a flat tile inside that can be pushed out
and tipped over.
This is suppose to have a sticker as well.
It does slide back in.
We have a 100 dollar bill.
This is printed,
and an extra hot dog.
Here we have a transparent wall element
that's suppose to have a sticker.
This large sticker is suppose to on the transparent wall element.
I'm planning on using this piece for something else.
So I don't want to deface it.
On the right, we have two stools.
These are nice,
but they do sit up a bit too high.
As you can see,
they're just about as tall as Nate is.
So if he were to sit on top,
Will be a long drop down if he decides to tip over.
Well let's try that one more time.
Now sit still,
and stop rocking back and forth on the stool.
There you go!
This should have been fitted
to where he can snap on the stool.
Finally the Hot Dog Van.
It is a nice colorful build.
On the front,
we have our ketchup and mustard,
two hot dogs,
and a cash register.
This slope is printed.
Nice awning.
It even has lights underneath.
I like the way they did the round bricks
for the hot dog.
Here's the back.
We do have a ladder that takes you up to the roof.
as well as to walk up inside the van.
So on the roof we have four spots to sit
and a table.
These 2 by 2 tiles were suppose to have stickers.
Not sure why the graphics were not printed on the tiles.
The top of the Hot Dog Van does remove.
The end pieces do come off fairly easily.
So when taking the top off,
pick it up like that.
So inside we have a grill with a tong.
On this side, we have two areas to sit.
One for the driver,
and one for the passenger.
Honestly this is a nice Hot Dog Van.
It just required a lot of tickers.
Let's have Nate load up,
and he can be the driver.
The way he was falling off the stool,
I don't know if I want him to drive the van.
We already have a problem.
His hands cannot reach the steering wheel.
Let's have Stephanie take a ride as well.
They do fit in nice.
That's a lot of head room.
At least they can see out of the windshield.
It does roll smooth on a flat surface.
Let's see if Stephanie can stand up inside the cab.
She's even waving "hi" to us.
Just enough head room.
So this is fully playable.
It does have a lot of play value.
This will work good for any Lego city
or a Lego Friends theme.
Now Nate, don't be stubborn.
It's time to come out of the Hot Dog Van.
It is a nice build.
Easy to construct.
Now I was thinking
these stools are a bit too high.
But I think the reason why they're high
is so that they can sit at the counter.
So that does work out very well.
I was wrong.
They're not too high at all.
Now I don't know why there's a spot on top of the van for seating
as well as the ketchup falling inside.
That's not too sanitary.
Put that back on the counter.
This set does have a lot of accessories.
So with the sides,
the figures do not slide out easily.
This may be a sun deck.
Nonetheless, this is one nice Hot Dog Van.
I'm satisfied with this build.
Very nice.
On the left, we have a nice set of print work.
Too bad the graphics were not printed directly on the bricks.
On the right we have a few stud flowers,
an extra hot dog,
and other various bricks which may come in handy for other Lego creations.
This concludes the review for
Amusement Park Hot Dog Van
by Lego Friends.
Set number 41129.
This is one nice set.
It comes with plenty of accessories
as well as Stephanie and Nate.
Thank you for watching!
