I want to talk about this film. It´s directed by, uh...
-Noah Baumbach, yes.
-Baumbach. Oh, man. Oh, man. I love it. It´s just --
-And Stiller. Stiller´s incredible in it.
-Dude, you and Ben Stiller, too,
and Dustin Hoffman in the same movie.
-It was great. -You fight Ben Stiller.
-Yes, I do.
Yeah. -And it´s very --
-And you both hurt each other.
-Yeah, We both -- You know,
Adam Sandler´s not the young Adam Sandler anymore.
That hurt. That hurt a little bit, fighting.
-Really? -Yeah, Stiller´s strong.
-But you know Ben, don´t you? -I do.
I didn´t know he was as strong as he was.
He was really, like -- He had 20 years of
"let´s get this on" going on when he hit me.
-But you must have wrestled with him before.
-Never like that. Never like that.
Dustin and I have gone toe-to-toe a few times.
-Have you ever wrestled or fought Ben Stiller.
-No. No.
-´Cause I heard that -- Doesn´t he fight?
Doesn´t he box people? Did you ever hear that story?
-I heard Ben Stiller boxed Bob Dylan once.
-Oh, that makes sense. Dylan has the gym.
-Yeah. -The boxing gym.
Yeah, I could see that. That would be a funny fight.
No, Stiller´s strong, though. He´s strong.
-Oh, he´s jacked. Yeah, yeah.
Well, I could see some scenes where you guys were in
the same scene and I go, "I would have started laughing."
And that´s why I´m not a good actor.
That´s why we would never be in a film together,
because I would start laughing.
I think you´ve got some great deliveries, great lines.
-He liked your character a lot.
-Oh. -Yeah.
-Equally charmed, I can tell.
No, this one -- I think you said like -- I don´t know.
I can´t -- I won´t do it justice.
-Come on. Do it.
-Well, you go like...
[ As Hoffman ] Come in the kitchen.
Maureen´s cooking shark.
-Yes! Come on.
-That´s me? -That´s you, yeah.
-Oh.
-That was right on the money, by the way.
-I got my start doing impressions,
but I never mastered a Dustin Hoffman.
-But you were in the dressing room with me before,
and you were doing Sandler, and I thought it was really --
-Yeah, he does me. -Thank you.
Yeah, I do Sandler.
Well, that´s how I got hired to do "Saturday Night Live."
-Why don´t you do me in the movie, talking to Dustin.
You can go back and forth, and we´ll all enjoy the show.
[ Cheers and applause ]
Good luck. Come on.
Oh. No. No, you do both.
-You sit there, and -- Yeah, you sit in that chair.
Then I´ll ask the question
and then I´ll do you answering the question, okay?
-Okay, so I´m gonna just move my mouth like I´m talk-- What?
-Oh, yeah, that´s --
-You´re doing both. You´re doing both voices.
-Yeah, all right. So, you move your mouth.
-All right. -All right, we´ll do it.
-Okay, go ahead. Okay.
-"The Meyerowitz Stories" -- it´s out October 13th.
It´s on Netflix. It´s fantastic. What was Dustin like on set?
How was it like on set?
[ As Sandler ] I, uh...
[ Laughter ]
[ Mumbling ]
[ Cheers and applause ]
-All right, thank you. -Very good.
-It´s hard to do that in front of...
-Are you gonna make Dustin do the mouth movement?
-Oh, yeah.
[ As Sandler ] But I will let Dustin
tell his own version of the story.
Dustin, would you like to say what it was like
to have me on the set?
[ Laughter ]
[ As Hoffman ] Why am I doing this?
[ Cheers and applause ]
-Thataboy! That was beautiful, man.
He got you, Dustin. -How about that?
