sifts through anything that
might be salvageable following
this house fire
shortly before sunset Saturday.
The loss is hard
to understand.
Bobbi Liles, Homeowner: How
much more can God.
put on ya. I'm sorry, I'm still
in shock, I lost
everything.
Bobbi Liles says she wasn't home
at the time of the fire
but her son and two
grandchildren survived a
chaotic scene Saturday evening.
Chad Petri, cpetri@wkrg.com:
with all the damage at the front
of the home the people inside
couldn't get out here, they had
to exit through the
backdoor just to make it out in
time.
Chad: The Saturday fire--left
behind rubble and
ash. Now neighbors are working
to try and help out.
Glen Perry, President Crestview
Community
Action Group: we're a very
close knit community, this
community has been here since
the late 50's. We
have a lot of neighbors that
have been here for many
many years and it's always great
to be able to help out
one of your own.
Bobbi Liles, Homeowner: It's
in God's hands, I need
all the help I can because I
have a bad back, my son
has a bad back, you know I have
no money.
Chad: A Mobile fire rescue
spokesman says the fire
started in a den being used as a
bedroom--the cause is under
investigation. In Mobile Chad
