special surprise for you I have my fabulous wonderful friend Indigo Blue
Violet who is joining me not in America but where Mexico! That's right we are
down in Mexico and we're gonna make a project that actually is inspired by
Miss Indigo because Indigo and I were making play-doh to make surprise eggs
right which we kind of made and were kind of a bust but that's another story
but so we made this fabulous play-doh and we decided that we would make
something fun out of it and indigo came up with the idea of making a stress ball so we're
gonna teach you how to make a stress ball filled with play-doh and it's super
super cool and we're going to teach you how to do it right now for this project
you'll need two 11-inch balloons a Sharpie pen and some homemade playdough
for the recipe go to my website www.sophie-world.com
or click the link below
first thing you are going to do is take this amazing playdough
which Indigo and I have already made ahead of time
Indigo is going to break of a piece of it and she is going to roll it into a tube
like a tootsie roll
she is going to roll a nice big log
she is going to make like a snake log out of that
while she is doing that I am going to open up this balloon with my fingers
this is a great project for two people because one person is going to have to hold this open
and the other person is going to be stuffing the playdough in
and so you want to open it up with your fingers on either side just like that
Indigo is going to take her log of playdough and push it on in there
as you can see it helps to have that second set of fingers there
what do you think Indigo? does it need a little more? are you going to put some more in there?
is that good or do you want a little more?
then we are just going to close it up like that
and push it down and tie it off
and when we tie it off like this once you've done so you can if you want to
just snip this little extra bit off right above the tie point just so you
don't end up with the end piece right okay now we're gonna put a second
balloon on here just to make sure that it's nice and secure so it doesn't go
opening up because you were saying he used to make these with flour right and
what happened one time it opened up it exploded so we're gonna
just push this in so I've opened up a second balloon and this one you can see
I've opened it up really wide and we're gonna push it in and that was like doctor
gloves snap right and then just tie it off now this was
actually Indigo's idea because we were talking about putting slime into them
right into balloons and she said what about play-doh and we had made all
of this play-doh okay now you've got this amazing stress ball which is really
it's a great stress ball and now you're gonna draw on it right yeah so now you
get to use your Sharpie pen and indigo is going to go to town drawing on that
so all you need balloons play-doh Sharpie pen a little imagination and you
end up with an awesome stress ball and you're gonna see more of indigo when we
do a couple little slime videos coming up in the next coming weeks so check us
out for more fun stuff with indigo sophie-world.com
