There's a lot left to question about Universe 7's survival.
And the biggest thing we're wondering is this:
How can 3 weakened fighters defeat Jiren?
Doesn't he still have hidden strength left to go against them?
These Dragon Ball Super Episode 131 leaked images could be giving away something huge...
Not a single one of us could bare watching it.
The critical condition we were last seeing Goku in is more than enough.
Our doubt in Universe 7's chances to win… ...never has been lower.
However…
There's a lost hope buried somewhere deep inside your heart that with this,
is returning.
What's happening to Goku?
His body made it through what's probably the greatest toll it's ever taken.
After seeing Dragon Ball Super Episode 130, the greatest thing you were hoping for was
just to witness Goku merely sitting up.
This is far beyond anyone's expectations.
Like a battery that never loses its charge, Goku just won't stop.
So there's only one thing that could push him to find energy out of literally nowhere.
The plot.
Ignoring that minor detail, You can feel Goku's willpower in this picture.
He's fighting for friends he's had for a lifetime.
For the the family that he loves so much.
Let's figure out what's really going on in this pic, though.
The image of loss flashing through his mind is deep,
But there's gotta be more to the determination we're seeing here.
My first thought?
Jiren powered up yet again.
And that was before our next leaked image was even released.
Surprise surprise.
Jiren, up to this point, really hasn't seemed like an evil guy.
Well, if you give him a pass on the whole part where he was attacking the eliminated
Universe 7 fighters sitting in the stands just to prove a point.
But the main things you can't ignore are Those red eyes.
Isn't that something usually reserved for the evil guys?
Well, yea.
But honestly, I don't think Jiren is turning evil here.
Jiren's backstory was pretty unoriginal for sure, but that doesn't take away from
the meaning behind it.
Actually take the time to think about what it would be like to be a happy kid one second,
and the next being all alone with no clue where to go.
Jiren may have left trust in others behind, but that doesn't mean he doesn't care
about the people of Universe 11.
He's isn't a Pride Trooper for nothing people!
But is that…
Frieza?!
At first, this looks like Jiren's just yelling due to a power up or anger.
But then you see the spit at the bottom of the screen.
Not to mention a grey skin with shiny purple reflecting from it..
Well this can only be Frieza.
He's actually gonna make hard contact with someone who wiped him out in an insta-second
earlier!
Frieza means business and did you notice he's not even in his golden form here anymore!
Last week Frieza went golden right as Dragon Ball Super Episode 130 was ending.
The fact that in both the last pic and now in this one he's back to his final form
is trying to tell is something.
Well clearly Jiren's strong enough to knock Frieza out of his golden form once again.
But this time, there's no time left to keep hiding.
So we find him instantaneously jumping back into the fight.
But is it the fight we think it is?
I wanna point out the similarities between this picture and the one of Goku we looked
at the very beginning of this video.
It honestly looks like these 2 images are from the same scene.
When I first notice this, the only thing that came to mind was that what you're seeing
is 2 images of a scene where the remaining fighters are desperately throwing themselves
at Jiren for one last final hit.
But this is Frieza.
And I'm sorry, but I can't just push aside his evil nature.
I think we all keep a little piece in the back of our minds wondering when his evil
side will be returning.
He's been a team player ever since the Aniraza fight back in Episode 121.
That's 10 whole episodes of Frieza acting like he actually cares about Universe 7.
That's just a little strange to me.
So what if…
The 2 pictures of Goku and Frieza jumping are still part of the same scene…
But…
It's a completely different fight than expected.
Notice how Goku was jumping in from the left.
And Frieza's jumping in from the right.
Are you starting pick up on what I'm trying to say?
It's a stretch, but that kid in my heart still hoping for the biggest plot twist of
the century is totally thinking this could be a battle between teammates.
Frieza decides he can't wait for Jiren to eliminate Goku any longer.
So he'll get rid of him by himself.
After all, what Frieza wants most is to protect the innocent lives of the people from Universe
7, right?
Ha!
Please…
He wants the Super Dragon Balls and that's that.
So yea, I'm reaching.
You gotta admit that would be totally the most awesome epic thing to ever happen, though.
But it's totally possible Frieza will continue on with this very strange good streak of his,
as this next image is implying will happen.
This definitely looks like a continuation of what we saw at the end of last week.
Frieza is still in his golden form and he's standing next to Android 17, fighting together
side by side.
There are 3 things that come to my attention about this image.
Number 1 is that, even though Frieza's still in his golden form, Android 17 looks totally
normal.
At the end of Episode 130, Android 17 was the first one to power up with his aura surrounding
him.
Makes me think this is an image from a little later in the episode.
Maybe they've been fighting for a while and don't have it in them to keep that powered
up state.
Number 2 is that Frieza looks totally buff and awesome.
It's clear that some of the scenes in tonight's Dragon Ball Super Episode 131 were drawn by
some of the greatest artists Japan has to offer.
And they did such a great job making Frieza look super powerful here.
But the third and most important detail I wanna point out to you from this image is
both the stance Frieza and Android 17 are standing in as well as the red light reflecting
off of them.
No doubt that's gotta be from Jiren's red aura or maybe something to do with those
scary red eyes we were talking about earlier.
But the reason those 2 key details stand out to me is because of our next leaked image.
The similarities between these 2 images is quite telling.
Goku's got his hands up just like Frieza and Android 17 had.
Plus there's a very obvious red light reflecting off of him.
The only real difference between them is that Frieza and Android 17 are definitely looking
serious.
Whereas Goku is actually smiling here.
I would never think that Goku is giving up.
But I will say that he's accepting that he's for real given it his all and there's
nothing more he can do but that.
In a last attempt to push his limits, he's at least still fighting.
He couldn't even sit up at the end of last week.
So to say he isn't still pushing with everything he has is just, in Vegeta's words, utter
rubbish.
This could quite possibly be Goku's last moment on the Tournament of Power stage.
A moment that could be causing…
This reaction.
There's definitely a 50/50 chance of what's happening in this image.
On one hand, they could be fearfully cheering on their last 3 fighters.
There's just nothing else left to do at this point.
No matter how small of an effort the weakest of them gave, each one of the people you're
seeing here gave it their all in this tournament.
They've proved time and time again that the simple act of leaving their trust in Goku,
as well as Android 17, and yes, even the evil mastermind Frieza, is enough to pull out a
hidden power.
Goku literally mastered something not even all of the gods have mastered because of that
trust.
It's so much more powerful than we ever realized and something that I've been thinking
for a while now would be the winning factor for Universe 7 over their untrusting opponent,
Jiren.
But then on the other hand, we could be seeing the reaction to Goku, and possibly one or
two of the other remaining 3, finally being eliminated.
The looks on their faces are so full of fear that I'm leaning towards this option just
a tiny bit more.
The reason I'm thinking Goku might not be the only one getting knocked out is because
of the leaked image we got last week.
Frieza and Goku are both clearly freaking out and shocked.
Leading me to wonder if they are literally about to fall off the stage together.
There's been a lot of unavoidable hype speculation that Frieza's gonna win this tournament.
The spoilers talk about a beam hitting Jiren in the back after Goku had fallen off the
stage.
Well, at the time, there was no other option except for this to be coming from Frieza.
Not to mention this totally sounds like a move he would pull.
But then Android 17 pops back up like a beautiful dandelion and gives us another person to possibly
be attacking Jiren.
Leading us to another hype speculation offered by our last leaked image.
At first, there wasn't a whole lot I wanted to say about this picture.
Android 17 is pretty intimidating looking here, but that's pretty much all I was getting
from it.
Until I sat there and tried to read Android 17's mind.
What could possibly be running through it here?
Is this the look of a man who's determined to go at Jiren against all odds for the last
30 seconds of the Tournament of Power?
Well, to me, that thought doesn't really match up to his expression.
Kinda looks like that epic moment when someone wins and takes their stance as the hero.
A lot of people are hoping and thinking Android 17 might actually be the winner.
Would I be disappointed that all this time, after like 30 something episodes, the tournament
was gonna end with a wish for a cruise?
Super...absolutely not.
In fact, I love the idea.
Call me a fangirl, but Android 17 is the MVP for risking his life in the way he did.
Give the man his cruise.
This isn't the only direction the ending of this episode could go, though.
This image could be as simple as Android 17 giving Jiren that look of "I'm not even
close to backing down now."
Frieza could still win out of a sneaky plan that gets pulled out of thin air and actually
surprises Jiren, knocking him from the stage.
But there's also one option that I don't hear many people talking about.
We're all so stuck on the idea that there's going to be one winner.
Well, it's hard not to think like that.
This is Dragon Ball and tournaments are a huge part of this franchise.
And in these tournaments, there can only be one winner.
But that was one of the biggest changes to the norm that the Tournament of Power gave
us.
What most of us remembered was the more obvious difference that this wasn't gonna be a one
on one fight.
It was a battle royale.
But did you remember the rules for winning the tournament.
There doesn't have to be one person left standing on the stage.
It's all about which team has the most fighters left once the time runs out.
So, very anti-climatic, but you really gotta consider the option of the tournament's
center pillar falls for the last time.
There are 3 people left standing: Jiren for Universe 11.
And both Frieza and Android 17 for Universe 7.
Will our team win by default?
