Hi everybody! This is a video collab with Auditorium Lab
as I said, it gave me an important help and provided me
with some materials that I will show you in this video
and in a next video that it will come out later
Now I want to show you all the cables
This is their cable on the market and it's a normal audio cable
to connect instrument to sound equipment and to different amplifiers
the most significant feature is that it is a high quality cable
usually the musician, included me, tends to ignore the quality of the cables
many times I use to buy cheap cables too
hoping that, in one way or another, they could resist
but I have to admit that since they sent me this one, I haven't used any others jacks
additionally, besides being a high quality cable, it's also made with a double protection
this reduces the noise by 90%
and the noise is extremely minimised when someone violently connects the cable to an instrument or pull it out hardly
Personally, I appreciated the quality because I'm extremely distracted
especially using cables
many times, when I assemble and disassemble the equipment, I make a mess
as a result, I really noticed the difference with this double protection
the first one, that is made with a PVC semiconductor, basically it reduces the noise of 95%
and the second one improves the performance
in addition, it's equipped with gold-plated Amphenol connectors
that definetly it improves the appearence
There are various sizes, this is 6 meters long
there is also 6.5 and 4 meters, but I leave in the description, for those of you interested,
the website about all the products
Then I'll make a second video where I'll talk about their flagship product
which is the Native Sound audio interface available for guitar, bass, keyboard and accordion
for now there are these four, I invite you to go and see them in the website
Now I'm going to use the cable, listen to the noise,
This is the result
when, yanking the Auditorium cable, you try to listen to some background noise
I kept a preset of the amplifier, for those of you interested,
As a set up I'm using a Gibson Les Paul and a Fender Mustand III
and I kept a preset of the amplifier that intensify medium and high frequencies
therefore it's easier to recognize a very loud noise
caused by a shuffling
this is the background noise
if I try to move the cable
this is the only noise you hear because there is a delay attached to the setup
but, for example, if I use a standard sound
without effects but with just a little reverb, this is the noise you hear
basically nothing
This is not small thing, because it can happen that
moving around the stage when you're playing
you yank the cable without knowing the distance between the cable and the amplifier
as a result, unpleasant situations can occur.
Now I show you the difference with a normal 10 € cable bought in the store
I will use the same presets described previously
now I show you the difference, while I'm moving the cable with the preset that intensified the mid and high frequencies
Can you hear it?
This is a typical background noise that occurs when the cable "scratches"
As I said for the previous jack, I have to say that it's very strong because
because so many times I happened to break
the connection inside the jack and, consequently, to throw it away
On the contrary, now I have been using this jack for several months, almost a year
basically, I'm using it often and it's unbreakable
I stepped on it several time but it's still here.
It is definitely a high quality product, so it belongs to a high-end production
I suggest having a look on the website because it is really a great cable
meanwhile check the interfaces Native Sound
There will be a second video about them
I'm going to show you them on the keyboards and with the guitar
What the fundamental differences are and the role of the interface
Thank you guys for watching this video
Go to the Native Sound page, I link you all in the description
