Greetings from Jimmy Market!
Today we'll look at this pretty Orange OR15 head
really gorgeous
it'll stand out on every stage
now let's look at the panel
on/off switch
it's recommended, just like with all tube amps, to let tubes warm up for at least 4 mins
when doing so you save the tube longelivity and you prevent damage
so leave it int the middle stand by position and then use 7W or 15W mode
Orange amps have this cool signs
a cool power light
Master Volume, Treble, Middle, Bass
everything in the middle
Gain starts to react about here
Jack input and this cool handles
now let's look at the back
16Ohm cab output which i'm using now
and you can also plug in two 8Ohm cabs
if you have two 8Ohm cabs, you can use them
Return, Send (Effect Loop)
Power supply plug, fuse
let's trun it around
it's actually quite light and compact
really good into clubs and regular, smaller stages
i've allways used it in the 7W mode because in my opinion it's just fine for rehearsals or into studio
maybe while playing some festival i would use 15W
let's have a look how it sounds with gain and volume at 9 o'clock
bass middle and treble in the middle
riase volume a bit because the sound is byt shy
i have to hit the guitar harder to get something out of it
now it's getting juicy
now neck single coil pickup
now, gain in the middle, it's really sensitive
you can mark the position in which it sounds best to you
lower volume a bit and gain at 3 o'clock
it has really fine sound, kind of round but sharp at the same time
now let's turn the gain all the way to the right
now get the gain back where it was and add more treble and middle and lower bass a bit
more treble and middle
and max
damn i like it!
it's really clear, at least up to the high gain range
but it still has that nic round warm sound
