we do so what's up everybody so the handle back again here with my review
for The Walking Dead Season 8 episode 13 do not send us astray and let's get Gifu
and talk about the good the bad and the ugly for this episode alright so the
good I liked the way Simon was kind of filling in in a sense for negan you know
with him kind of being like a jokey negan the way negan is supposed to be
but there is a downfall to this which I'll get to a little later in the video
Maggie's acting man when I look at Maggie's face in the in the episode
I mean she's super believable I can see her growth her anger everything she's
been through the laws Big Ups to I can't remember the name of the actress at the
top of my head right now but yeah man she's doing an amazing job another one
is the prisoners and the way they switch side it does depend on what they do with
this whole thing in the future but I think it has a lot of potential for
compelling dialogue and character development see where these people are
coming from why they join somebody like negan and why they do the things that
the Savior's do so you know like I said it all depends on what they do but for
now it has potential to be good now another one this is a double-edged sword
with the zombies in the house I kind of like that that harkening back to more of
the beginning of the zombie apocalypse and The Walking Dead where people had to
worry about zombies and people turning and all that so that was kind of a cool
little nod to the past all right so let's jump right into the bed not
continuing where the last episode left off with the cliffhanger you know Jada's
capturing negan and what's gonna happen there what's gonna happen to negan how
is he gonna get out of this is he gonna die at the hands of Janus we don't know
is it gonna be next episode is it gonna be the one after is it gonna be the
season finale we don't know and they've done this in previous episode and a lot
a lot of people complain that they kept doing stuff like this but obviously I
don't know I guess they haven't learned their lesson another thing Henry wanting
to kill the person that killed his brother to me this just seems like
they're kind of going down a checklist like they want to follow the comic book
so closely who which personally I think is completely
unnecessary so long as they give us compelling stories compelling storyline
compelling character development awesome action awesome zombie awesome horror I
don't care about that they can kind of weave in and out of the
comic book storylines as far as I care but they need to stop
acting like it's a must so unless they're gonna do something awesome with
Henry which I highly doubt this is just completely unnecessary and then finally
the last bad is the tired ass repetitive dialogue that we keep getting now when I
and I'm sure other people say man do you know what the walking that is lacking
and compelling dialogue we're not talking about the tired ass repetitive
what we've built what we're fighting for the issue of killing is it good as a bad
as it necessary does it change who we are are we bad now because that we've
killed come on The Walking Dead you keep using this for every damn character stop
already alright but ugly tears quick as recovery
after Dwight shot her and then she's just walking around like nothing ever
happened that was a super ugly doctor killing
what's going out with The Walking Dead they keep killing up the doctors but
besides that they keep finding doctors they kill what doctor and then they find
another doctor that's just super ugly another thing is Simon acting like negan
look I know I said that that was a good because like I said in the under the
good Simon gives us our little fix of negan
you know his joke yourself but you know that the Walking Dead is basically
replacing Jeffrey Dean Morgan with Simon because they're too cheap I guess I
don't know I and you know they're making money so they're just trying to cut
corners it's like they can't afford JDM or no they don't want to pay Jeffrey
Dean Morgan so here you go with this dude which is cool with me other than
the fact that it's obvious it makes it super duper ugly so what about the
plague right from the people dying I said it was a good because it was an
awesome callback that's not what I'm talking about with the ugly hear what
I'm talking about is the dumb ass people in the house that were too deaf I guess
you got zombies stomping around rallying falling down stairs and nobody nobody's
waking up that's just dumb another ugly the way Rick really really quickly saw
why there was armies when high counter negan his bat was kind of full
of no that was way too quick that was not and then really the meat of the
episode was super ugly was just random people fighting gun battles back and
forth no dialogue no character development they think that we just want
to see action not give us some compelling story compelling dialogue
alright guys so in the end while this episode was fun to watch it's just four
terrible episode it's more apparent because of this episode that the
showrunners have this checklist of comic book moments that they are really really
trying to get into the show for example negan zombie gunning on his weapons
check Dwight somehow getting back to the Savior's after he's already betrayed
then check Dwight shooting Rick with a possibly contaminated boat except for
this time they switched it out for Tara hey Carl's
maniac killer storyline except they're swapping it out for Henry because Carl's
dead check so the end I'm gonna go ahead and give this episode a 5 out of 10
because of the repetitiveness the sloppy writing if you enjoyed my video please

subscribe anyway and you can check out some more of my videos right now I will
see you guys I already said it is it peace out bye
