We doing our thing, Crystal Palace, we OUT!!
Yo what's up YouTube world!
My name is D. Arthur Turner IV yes the fourth
but you can call me Art for short and presented by D.A.T.A. Productions my channel
I am back today and I have a bomber today yeah we really do we have a bomber and so
what we really want to talk about today if you're new to my data productions
channel the things I do like to talk about on this channel is regards sports
and travel and when I can get those things intertwined together I like it a
lot and you know what I like to make content for you to like a lot too with
those two things so like I said I have a bomber topic today we're going to talk
about how to become a crazy international soccer slash football fan
while traveling the world you know I had the opportunity to travel the world for
six months while I studied abroad in London England and I went to a lot of
different soccer matches and I'm personally a fan so in America we call
it soccer but internationally we call it football so I'm gonna use football as
the term to be a little bit more politically correct because we talk
about international yeah you know I like to be a cultured dude so that's time with
a reference it so while staying abroad six months in London I went to a lot of
different football matches and I enjoyed it I documented a lot of it and I want
to show you guys but first I want to know let you guys know how to assimilate
and you know and be a fan you know even if you're from America or somewhere else
and you've never been to a soccer match what are some things that you need to do
you'll fit right in so that's the goal today I have about
seven tips how you can fit right in being a you know crazy international
football fan like all the rest of you know the Brits Germans Italians Spanish
and so on because you know it's the world's largest sport so it's the most
popular sport in the world and so we're going to talk about it also you're going
to see video for me traveling and doing these different types of tips for me to
fit in in communal sense for these teams and so
let's just get right into it all right so first when you're traveling and you
want to go to a sporting event you want to go to a football match first you have
to pick an allegiance I'm an American football fan that's like my favorite
sport and my favorite team is the Philadelphia Eagles so for me
my allegiance is the Philadelphia Eagles first then football fans second that's
the same thing when you're going abroad for international football soccer when
used for Premier League games so say if you're a Manchester United fan diehard
fans are Manchester United fans before their football fans their international
soccer fans and you have to you know make that difference now when you're
traveling the world and you just want to see different sporting events like me
sure I have favourite teams because internationally I'm a soccer fan first
biggest favorite team I like his Paris St. Germaine in France. West Ham on the
EAST side of London I also love Roma in Italy and so on
like Dortmund in Germany and things along those lines Ajax in Amsterdam so
I like those type of teams so when I'm in those countries I'll most likely go
see those teams plays as you know as a fan for those teams I was a little bit
more still bit more okay for me I guess to you know where another person's jersey,
other teams Jersey while I'm travelling around because I'm not claiming to be a
true fan of a team you know die-hard as I would claim being a Philadelphia
Eagles fan in American football back to what I was saying
sorry about that rant yeah I pick a Legion so if you're in if you're in
London you have six teams well six major teams to choose from if you want in the
Premier League you know if you want to see the Tottenham Hotspurs play then
shoot you're gonna be a Tottenham Hotspurs fan for that day when you see
the game you just want to see a good match so you have to pick an allegiance
it could be any team e1 number two you want to buy some gear usually what I did
when I was travelling around and I would buy a scarf right scarfs really easy 15
dollars 15 pounds 15 euros really cheap you get a guy
the street to get to sell you one and you can go in with that scarf and then
boom you're a fan you don't have to have a jersey but you know what you're part
of the team today and so the number three step the third step and it's a
very important step if you're over the age of 18 internationally or 21 in
America you know and you know you like alcoholic beverages I think this is a
very important step in any sporting event you got to get oiled up baby you
got to get oiled up
and if you don't know what the term oiled-up means it's you know to pregame
to get drunk to get a little loose before the game and plus you can save
money because sometimes going in sporting events the prices for alcohol
the prices for booze liquor can get expensive so it's good to get oiled up
before you go inside so that's very important number four is to get situated
with the stadium walk around with your homies you know talk to other couple
fans you know fill out the stadium how does it look you know how people
carrying them themselves are they really drunk
are they not really drunk are they loud are they timid just you know figure out
the the vibes of the stadium when you talk to fans of that team but you have
your scarf on you're asking questions let them know that hey I'm a traveler
today I wanted to see a football match so today you know I'm a Chelsea fan what
should I be looking out for what players should I be looking out for it I could
give you a list of players already because I you know I like soccer
I like international football so I can give you a list of players already who's
on Chelsea but if you don't ask and they'll tell you so hey you know what
you're a Chelsea fan today so I'll give you a lowdown you know that's unifying
and they they love that that any any team would love a new newcomer
especially if you're not being a bandwagon you just want to have the good
experience for that team number five and it's a very important one as well I
think all these tips are actually important to be honest but number five
is when your team scores you got to go CRAZY
[Screams]
you have to go ballistic you have to go bananas you have to jump up and down you
have to scream that's the only way to do it that is the only way to do it
literally the only way that's part of the experience you there's a feeling of
a gentle ending excitement and joy when your team scores and everybody around
you is high-fiving you want to find somebody to share the moment with
because especially in the sport of international football goals come out of
paint you know you might only see two goals the whole day shoot you might not
see any goes it could be definitely 0 0 you might t1 goal so when a team scores
it's very very big because you don't have a lot of those moments in the 90
minutes number six perform the team's victory cry or celebration chant to the
best of your abilities you know every team has one very traditional allow the
true fans know it by heart and obviously you're traveling around you don't know
it you could look it up online but you probably still don't know it by verbatim
that they do so you know to fake it you got to fake it to your make it
you know so what I like to do is you pick up the the rhythm and the tone of
that song and the pitches and then you just kind of scream slash moan cry out
the those rhythms and stuff if you don't know the words is so let me give you a
little example I'll see I'm not really saying shit I'm not s aying shit but if
[inaudible chang]
the tone matches it's ok nobody's really gonna pay attention to after you're
getting the words right but you're still along with the ride and here's a little
example of me doing it with Crystal Palace
LOL but you get the point
number seven i think it's actually the most important
tip just have a good time you're traveling you're in this country you
want to see a game you want to be a part of what makes this city town what it is
sports is a big part of a lot of nation's sports is history storytelling
it unifies people it separates people it's a powerful force
Sports is a powerful force all across the world and so when you do decide to
go to different events you know around the world just have fun you know talk to
the fans eat the food drink drink their
liquor watch the game figure out who's cool on the team who's a good player
who's a legend sing their songs even if you don't know it just have fun that's
the great thing about traveling and sports you just get to have fun and
that's what it's all about and so that's the seven little tips I have for you
today on how to become a crazy international soccer football fan when
you're traveling across the world use these tips and then you'll fit in like
no other and you also have memories to share and if you do if you get gear at
least a scarf you have a momento - every stadium so that's all I have today for
you go hit the subscribe button I'm gonna have a lot more content coming
traveling around the world going to different sports events and letting you
know the history and the story behind it all
