Hi there, it's Anna from SimpleSite.
In this tutorial I'm going to show you how to add a map section to your SimpleSite.

Let's get started
So start by going to SimpleSite and logging into your website editor.
so if you have a physical location and you want your visitors to find you,
then a good way to get people to come around, is by adding a map section to your website.
So there are two ways of doing that,
and the first one is by adding a content page because that already includes a map section.
But if you want to add a map to any of the pages on your website,
you can simply do that by using the map section template.
So let's see how we do that.
So choosing the page that you want your map section on,
and then adding content.
Here you can choose map,
and it will automatically open up.
so in order to get your visitors to find you you need to add your address.
Google Maps will automatically find your address.
And then from here, you can go into the settings and change the look and the design of it.
So we can either select to show the marker or not, which of course is handy if you want your visitors to come around.
And by choosing map and satellite, you can get your visitors to select the type of design,
so that it's easier for them to have a visual.
If you prefer that your visitors do not have that choice, you can choose yourself what you think is the best design.
So either way, you choose or your visitors choose.
Then you can also choose the Street View control and the zoom options and allow dragging.
So it's all up to you.
But for this situation, I would advise to just turn it off, because I just want to show where my location is on the map.
So I'm applying my settings and then saving.
And this will be a great and easy way for your to find your location.
