what we want to do is, get into depth about how you can take an audience who
loves what you do, who feels the message that you have to share and want
something from you. Wants to contribute to you and turn that into an income that
supports you to do more.Oh my gosh! It's going to be such an exciting video dude. I
cannot wait. Listen, get pen and paper and buckle up. Let's dive right in. So you got
a YouTube channel. You're generating a lot of views, you're getting subscribers
and maybe even making a little bit of adsense but guys, adsense is some of the
most difficult money to make on YouTube. What would be a lot better is if you
could generate some of these views into leads and sell some of your own products.
Now, I personally don't have a lot of experience doing that, this is where
Kris comes in. Kris, why don't you take it away Kris. Grant, I appreciate it.
Thank you so much and I got to tell you guys, like this, you can probably tell I'm
lit up right now. I get really excited about taking lead, creating value for
people converting them into sales. I think I get so excited because,
information is great but helping people take in them by the hand and helping
them get where they really want to go. Man, taking your more serious clients to
that level of something that gets me really really excited. But it does take a
specific set of skills on how to monetize this. And you know Grant, one of
the things that I love and respect about working with you is, man when it comes to
adsense, when it comes to sponsorships, man, you are freaking crushing, you we're
rocking that. It is credible. And on this side, what I love working with our new
and very young YouTubers, is that we can show them how they can start monetizing
their channel, long before a sponsorship is a possibility. Long before they
might even have people that want to... So I want to talk about that for a minute.
Like what really is, the meat and potatoes here. How do we monetize YouTube
if we're not using adsense and sponsorships? For the average person out
there who doesn't have access to some of the big sponsors or maybe isn't
generating much adsense revenue, what would you suggest or some of the steps
they can use to get started, to generate leads that actually see some money
hitting their bank account. Perfect! so I'm going to give you six very specific
steps right now and you're probably not finding these anywhere else on the
Internet. So I'm going to buy you to take pen and paper. You're going to want to write
these down because they are a very very specific. Here's the first one. Before you
can actually convert a lead into a sale, we're going to actually back it up and give
you some bonus material which is, how do you even collect the lead
in the first place, right? You've got your YouTube channel and one of the things
that you're going to need side by side with your YouTube channel, is a website.
And why don't we talk about lead for a second. Just for anyone out there who may
not understand what a lead is, because I think the marketing terminology is a
completely different world to some people including myself. So can you talk
about what is a lead? So this is someone that's been watching your
channel and they're saying, "wow I might be interested in working closer with you
or coming out to one of your events or even looking at some of the products
that you have to offer". So in the marketing world that person is called a
lead, but we respectfully know this is a real person, a real human being that
we're really connecting with. But if I have a hundred people a day
that are watching my YouTube videos and I have five of those individuals that
say, "wow I want to know more", in the marketing world, we'd say... well, I got five
leads today. I have five people that are interested in learning more. So to sum
one up, I think what Kris is saying is that, you have a YouTube channel, you have
defined your purpose, you may even have some products that resonate your with
your brand and what you do. And a lead is basically someone who really gets what
you're doing. They feel it, they feel the energy. They want to be part of it and
they're ready for the next step. Absolutely, so this first step is called...
"get a website" and in the beginning, it can be really really simple. When you're
brand new and you're trying to just allow in as many leads as possible. We're
not going to put a whole lot of filtering systems in. It's just going to be a website
that's going to say, "hey I've got other ways that I can help you, fill out your
information below, so that I can call you." And in the beginning that's you right
this is one-man band. This is just you're going to have a low number of leads. And I'm
going to tell you right now that if you have people that are watching on YouTube,
they're going to want to connect with you and so while you can still afford to
because your channel might be small and young in its infancy, there's so much to
learn from from responding to all comments and there's so much to learn
from actually connecting with these people. So, you're going to want to connect
with them. So the first one is have a website that says "you can reach out to
me." Now you have to have something to sell. So, let's talk real quick about how
you product ties whatever your website's about. To make it very very simple,
generally, there are three different levels of products. There's information,
there's a physical product or there's a service. So an example of an information
product might be... Over on my page, we have project PDFs or I've taken the actual
video and turn it into step-by-step tutorials with pictures, that you can
download, print off and have on your workbench as
go through it. Boom! So that's a great example of information. Another example
of physical product might be - your merchandise right? So Grant has a variety.
If you go to King of Random, you're going to see his shirts, you're going to see other
things that you can buy as far as physical products go. thekingofrandom.com,
quick plug. Boom, there you go. And then the third one is service. Some of
you might actually have a service. Like maybe it's over the phone coaching that
someone could sign up for me. Now, one of the things that you want to understand
about physical products and information and services, is that normally, they
escalate in financial value. So a physical product, depending on what it is,
you know a shirt could be twenty dollars or another project kit could be eighty
dollars. But then information is something that will often die you for
$500 or $1,000 or $2,000 depending on how extensive it is. Especially if this
information is something that can help other people make a living or generate
some kind of an income. Absolutely. And then the highest level is a service. This
would be like, "hey actually you might live on the other side of the planet but
we're going to actually do some coaching together or maybe I'm a physical fitness
trainer and I'm going to instruct you on how to alter and change your diet based
on the way your metrics come in." And we live in a world that is so digital today
that there's so many ways of creating value in working with people without
even ever getting face to face. So geography just doesn't become an issue
anymore. Right. So you know programs like Skype, Google
hangouts, you can literally be having face-to-face conversations across the
world. Yep and so you got to figure out number two, what is the product that
you want to represent? Now for example, if you go over to my real estate website,
Limitless Wealth TV, you'll notice that on my website, I've got actually three
different products. One is an information product, number two is a service and then
the third one has actually come out to a live event. So there's really no
restriction on what you can offer here, but I am going to tell you this.
Make sure you have entry level options for people that are just starting out on
this be so that they can take a next step with you, because that's what a lot
of people are at. And there's going to be a much smaller number of people that are
going to be able to work with you on a more aggressive basis but, if I'm servicing
ten people over here, for every one person over here, you add it up and
YouTube can absolutely...be creating a living for you, working from home, sharing
your message and doing what you love. So that's the second of those six steps.
Okay the third option is that on your website you need to educate them on your
advantage. You need to have something that you do
different, something unique to you and I'm going to tell you right now. That you
already being you is unique. Your view of the world is unique. They've chosen to
subscribe. They're watching your videos and so already you have a very important
advantage, but the other advantage that I'm speaking of is, what can you do for
someone that others cannot? What do you have to offer them that's unique or
different. You know like for example, if you take a look at this channel right
here, Grant and I do offer ways to work with people. We've got done for you high
level ways for businesses that want to come in and say, "hey build my entire
channel for me." Down to other simplistic ways for people that are like, "whoa Grant,
share with me the special report on how you actually you know ran all of
these challenges and systems for actually getting people to
share your content like information" or "Kris and Grant will you guys give me
the A to Z on how to do YouTube like a professional?" You can go to our website,
you'll see that there's several different ways. So you need to
communicate your advantage. Part of our advantage, is that Grant and
I have accomplished and done things on YouTube that other people haven't. Not
everyone for example, has 9 million subscribers. And that gives Grant a
different point of view. He's been to YouTube's corporate offices, he had a chance
to talk with the people. And to get to know them. He's been able to
actually...have watched and put in requests and have YouTube pull strings
and make things happen for Grant. So Grant has a different perspective, or my
experience now in knowing how to monetize channels, gives me something
unique to offer you that you might not find anywhere else. So you want to
communicate that advantage on your website. The fourth thing is on your
website at the end, is where people can submit their information to get more
information. I do not recommend a website that is directly selling something
unless it's simple merchandising. Right? if it's a shirt or a t-shirt. That's
great. But if you're going to start offering something in the hundreds of dollars or
thousands, you're going be better off in the beginning, having a physical
connection through the phone with somebody. So you'd have them simply
submit their name phone number and email and let them know that you will schedule
a time to get back in touch with them. When you're new in the beginning, I
recommend it's you. If you're nervous about that, you can take one of our
courses on sales and marketing and learning how to use our sales scripting
to create more confidence or you could have a close friend or family member
come in and assist with the selling, but just remember in the beginning, these
people do want to connect with you and you have loads to learn about your
website, your message, how you're communicating. I do recommend that your
first sales be handled personally for the educational experience and just to
connect with people and really learn more about what it is that they like
about working with you or they might have some suggestions on what you can
alter and change and offer some feedback on how you can change alter improve or
enhance your product. Okay cool, so just to distill what I'm hearing here from
Kris, is that the website that you create is basically a filter to take
your general watch audience and filter them through to the ones who actually
want to purchase or be involved with you on some other way that generates a
revenue. So you create a website, you have all the information listed out that gets
them in the frame of mind of why they want your product, what products you have
to add...to offer, and then there's also a way that they can go to the next level
where they actually submit information to you. Friends, thank you for watching
this video and the rest of it is coming up next in the next video. In the
meantime, if you can't wait to get started, we have a link down in the
