In this video, I'm gonna show you how to make a 4D flower.
We're not just gonna make it on the nail or we're not gonna make it on a sculpting form
or anything like that, we're going to use a Toppit dual form.
So, the reason that I'm going to use a Toppit is because a toppit is curved.
Now, if you say for instance, see how I got a tip here. If you use the tip to make your flower on,
so we make this 4D flower, we make it on here, we can't take it off. It will not come off, so bye bye!
Adam: I'll hover that up later yeah?
Kirsty: Yeah, we don't need that. We are going to use the toppit as the base for our flower.
This is because I'm going to be putting the flower onto my right hand with my left hand,
so I'm gonna use my left hand. I'm right-handed, so I'm using my non-dominant hand.
If I was going to make it on the nail, directly on the nail, I would have to use my non-dominant hand,
which would be quite difficult. So, to get round this, we are going to create the Rose on the tip,
on this toppit. Take it off and put it on to my right hand. That will be far easier, won't it?
Than actually trying to make it on my nail. Plus, this has got a nice curve like my nail, so it will match perfectly.
We're gonna use... these are the new colours. We have new colours. Oh my God!
If you haven't seen that videos already about these new powders, Oh my God! What are you doing?
Have you not watched them yet? Come on, you need to catch up.
So, we've got Tawn y Rose, Caramel Dream and Rose Glow.
So, the middle of this flower, I'm gonna do something a little bit different.
It's something that I haven't quite done before but I've done this with a bow.
But we're gonna use the technique with the flower.
You'll know what I mean when I start to do it, if you've watched that video. Hopefully, this will help you.
So, it doesn't really matter what colour you use here, so we could even use...
let's use a Lunar Blush, so you can have a look what this colour is like.
Pick up a bead,
roll it off the brush. I made sure that was quite dry because I don't want it to collapse too much,
I want it to just be nice and round. What I'm gonna do is tease it so it's a little bit higher,
so I'm just pressing the sides just to make it a little bit higher and round.
So we need this height. Can you see it from the side you have more height?
Then, I'm gonna using the Urban Graffiti topcoat
and then I'm gonna cure that in the lamp.
So, because Adam is moaning at me for not holding the tip right,
we've now put it on a little stand with a sticky
and a sticky is the thing that we use to put
my microphone on me.
Adam: That sounded lovely Kirsty: Sorry!
So, that's what we use to stick the microphone down with and we've now stuck it on there. How cool is that?
I'm gonna use the Holographic powder now. So, this is holographic Chrome we use...
Adam: Oh no!
Kirsty: You ***. You need to stay still. I'm gonna have to take you off.
Adam: Oh no! Kirsty: You're so naughty.
Oh my God! This is not the easiest thing...it's working now.
Adam: It is.
Kirsty: Does it we could make Christmas bubbles like this
Adam: Mm-hmm! Kirsty: Don't be stealing my idea.
So, I want to make this nice and shiny.
We want some lovely shiny Holographic ball.
So, once we've made that, I'm gonna seal it. We're sealing it with the Urban Graffiti topcoat.
Look at my shiny ball! I'm gonna cure that.
Adam: How you gonna now stick that on back on there
Kirsty: I'm gonna stick it on with a bit more Acrylic, though, a little bead of acrylic we need now,
so we've got some of the Lunar Blush. Pop that on top.
Imagine trying to do this on me nail with me left hand,
that would be a disaster.
I'm gonna use another Toppit, so we're gonna use Rose Glow.
It's definitely big enough too. So, I'm gonna do work with two at the same time.
You can do one at a time, this is just me being fast and
I quite like doing two at a time. It speeds the process up a little bit.
Now they start to set, I'm going to do other ones. We want this like croissant kind of shape.
So, croissant or a halfmoon? I prefer croissant shape because I like croissant.
Adam: Hmm.
Kirsty: Do you know croissant has also got 10 grams of fat in them?
Adam: That's good. Kirsty: They are so bad.
Kirsty: It's so bad for you. Adam: That's not. fat is good.
Kirsty: Croissant fat? Adam: No, fat is good.
Kirsty: Fat ain't good. Adam: Fat is good.
Kirsty: Fat makes you fat, don't it? Adam: No.
Kirsty: No.
So, I'm gonna take off that one.
We're gonna use the side that is sticky to attach this around.
Get on! Oh my God! Why are you in the little swine?
So, we're gonna make another petal and the good thing about doing it on this dual form is,
it's curved as well. This petal will be curved, so that actually makes it easier to put on.
Adam: To wrap around.
Kirsty: Yeah, it wraps around so much better. Goes with the curves of the flower.
So, I'm using Caramel Dream.
So, I added a couple of petals in here and there, obviously made it bigger.
The colours that I use for these petals, I use perfect blush and here we have Rose Glow
and then we move on to Caramel Dream and then these ones on the outside are made with Tawny Rose,
and I love that graduation of colour. It's very pretty.
So, you can see it has a curved base to it,
so that will fit on to my nail perfectly.
See? Curve is the same. So, now I know where I'm gonna put it. I'm gonna get some Clear Acrylic,
put that on the bottom and this is gonna act as a glue when it will adhere the flower.
Place that on, add a little bit of pressure
and allow that to set. Take off any excess and you keep it nice and neat.
What I'm gonna do now is apply some crystals around here
and that will help to keep everything secure as well. It'll protect it. I'm also doing this with my left hand.
And there we are!
Finished with a bit of bling
using the new colours that we have.
I love the Middle as well.
It's beautiful.
It's a lot easier to do on the dual forms, definitely. Especially with it being on this hand.
There is no way I could have made that flower with my left hand. It would have been really difficult for me.
The little cheat.
So, there you are, guys! I hope you enjoyed that video. Don't forget to check us out on Facebook and Instagram,
and I'll see you lot in the next video. Bye bye! Keep watching!
Hi everybody, I'm Kirsty Meakin from Naio Nails.
In this video, I'm gonna show you how to make a 4D flower. That is not a nice picture,
get it off the screen! That is vile. I can see it at the corner of my eye and that is not nice.
Mmm! I hate my side profile.
Adam: It looks alright.
Kirsty: Look better if that was shorter and that was shorter
and that was like that.
So, like a different person really ....
