Hello everyone and welcome to the March 2018 news review!
My name is Gwyn...
...and I'm Jess!
The month started with some awesome store releases and a sale!
St. Paddy's Day related items appeared on the store, while any green items were sold
at a discount.
Did you buy any new items, Jess?
I did!
Switching from green to yellow, a huge congratulations to the Honeybadgers on winning the Quarterly
House Cup!
We're so proud of all you potatoes!
Now, some words from Emily, the Head of Honeybadger:

Now, it's time for Name that Staff Member!
Do you know who this is?
Any guesses?
We'll reveal the answer at the end of the video.
To celebrate House Pride Week, players could embark on four unique, house-based quests!
Each one was given by the house's respective ghost, and revolved around the house's core
values and traits.
After completing the quest, players could receive a house flare spell!
Sounds like quite the colorful event, doesn't it?
Now, we go to Erik with the weather!

Now, as you see, the skies are clear as can be, how perfect for Spring!
Birds are soaring and singing through the warming air.
Light rain showers fall and hydrate the flowers and trees, bringing them to full bloom.
Couldn't think of a better time to be outside!

We had an intense Dueling tournament this month.
PhatLogan took the third place spot, with JackkFrost taking second, and Scoobydoolego
claiming first place!
The Flying results were soaring too, with Honeybadgers taking the win!
Congratulations to mannyawesomeness, CaptainBlueSlim, and Danneman01 on their impressive victory.
Great job everyone, and back to you guys!

This month saw an amazing St. Paddy's Day event honoring the holiday.
The Irish Quabbleball team needed help, and players were eager to give their assistance.
Together, Potterworld helped the team to lift the curse put on them by the evil leprechauns!

Introducing a brand new section to WizNews: Staff Shoutout!
During this section, we will highlight a specific role on the server.
We'll talk about the people in the role, what they do, and give a glimpse into their
world.
Without further ado, here is our first Staff Shoutout!
One of the first things you notice when you come on the server are the builds.
Our Architects work hard, focusing their artistry on the details of what make Potterworld exploration
so unique.
Heya, I'm RobotWizz, but you can call me Robo.
I'm a Raven Architect on Potterworld and as an Architect, my main responsibilities
are generally leading the build team, whether it's creating, planning, or leading projects.
Besides my responsibilities, I've also gathered some great memories from being on the build
team, such includes seeing the first ever project you worked on going live and of course
the amount of fun TBAs we've had in the past.
All of which led me to develop some great life skills, such as perseverance and of course
essential leadership skills, which I would have not had before being an Architect and
the build team in general.
If you ever consider applying and being on the build team, I would definitely give it
a go and see how it goes.
Earlier in the month, the server was taken offline for some core maintenance that was
needed to update plugins and other features.
All of this is simply paving the way for the Exploration Update, which will include three
beta professions as well as other awesome updates!
It's all so exciting!
The Spring Housing competition is still in full force!
Players can enter any spring themed housing plot into the contest for a chance to bring
home points for their house, as well as some spring-y store items!
All submissions must be in by April 13th.
The winner will be announced in a stream on April 14th here on our YouTube channel!
