Do you now the best way
so that something will be not stopped?
sometimes it happened to me, maybe more than sometimes
to be in a situation where
someone came telling me something about a friend of mine
or presumed friend
and the thing was too incredible to believe
so I answered "No, it is impossible, he wouldn't ever do something like this"
and I let the situation go without listening
after a while I realized it was really so
and the person I believed a friend of mine
contrariwise really did it
or it was you going to a friend of yours
warning him
that a person he believed as a friend of him
was backstabbing him
in such an incredible way
that he himself, annoyed, sent you away telling
Impossible! Such a thing is not possible...
you got the role of the bad guy
and the real bad guy could backstab your friend
then your friend realized it
and apologized
well, these are two examples
making us understanding a principle
a very simple one
which is the basic of the conspiracy teories
if we want name them like this
and the ones pro and against such theories
but, anyway,
they can be used in the day-by-day life
the principle is:
THE UNBELIEVABILITY OF SOMETHING
IS ITS BEST PROTECTION
think about it: if something is too unbelievable to be true
you will not consider it
then the person or the situation can carry on
until you are hit
well, this explains , as I was saying earlier, the mechanism at the base of the conspiray theories
it could be that some things are true ones
but they are so incredible
that a great portion of the people
tells you "You cannot be so stupid to believe it"
so that, if one or more of these theories would be true
these persons doing such incredible things
too incredibles to be true
won't find any resistance because
the majority doesn't believe it
not doing then anything to stop them
and this people can carry on
reaching their goals
now, I am not with this one or that one conspiracy theory
but the point is that
this principle works both in the great events
and in the little ones
especially in our day-by-day life
and the previous examples happens often
Next time someone tells you something
about someone other
or about a situation
which coud hurt you
and it looks like a story too incredible to be true
maybe think a bit about it
observe the situation
look nearer by yourself what is happening
and maybe you could find out that a person you considered a friend of yours
maybe is not such a friend!
