
I want to share with you guys one of the products that I did and I was selling on Amazon FBA
So I'm gonna share with you
These were this was one of my very first products that I actually started to sell it was a good product
But I did go through some you know hurdles and some struggles because I didn't know too much about Amazon FBA at the time
so in this video
I'm gonna share some tips and tricks and
Also, show you guys one of the products that I used to sell on Amazon
And how I chose to bundle it with a separate item that not only helped me grow my sales
But also helped me grow my profit and be able to differentiate from other sellers who were selling you know a similar product to mine
So guys one thing that you want to make sure that you do
before you even start selling on Amazon is make sure that you track all of the sellers that are selling this product and
I always recommend that people track the sellers using the I $9.99 trick method
this is one of the best ways for you to double-check the numbers based on you know using the product research tool jungle Scout or
viral launch
The reason that you want to make sure that you track the sellers is because sometimes
Booth the product research tool jungles kind of are loans can be way off their estimate. So you know you might see that
Swan so seller is making 50,000 a month
Selling this product, and then you get all excited and you see this other seller making
70,000 a month and you say hey, if these guys have 50 reviews or a hundred reviews, and they're making fifty grand a month
Why don't I bring the same product even if I can make five ten thousand a month?
I'll be happy
But then you get your product in and you see that it's barely making any sales so the reason you want to track sellers guys
and again
I always recommend
Tracking sellers who have been in the market for some time and as well some other sellers
who are new just like you so they might have five reviews ten reviews even 50 reviews that way you can set a
Benchmark for the people with really high reviews, so that's your best case scenario
You know new salaries that are just getting started selling on Amazon that don't have too much traction
They don't have too many revenues
But they're still hopefully making consistent sales do Verde and once you track these sellers over a seven day period you get a good idea
of how many units a day you can sell as well and

aside from that
Let's go back to one of my products that I ended up selling not not too long ago
but I stopped selling it after some time because it was just you know a product that there were too many sellers coming in and
One thing as an Amazon FBA seller that you always want to have is you wanna have
three four or five products on the back burner that you've been tracking as
a go-to product in case one of your product ever gets too competitive
Or you know you just have to keep lowering your prices because of other new Amazon sellers
And you know especially if this is a product that you know you're not putting into your brand account again as most of you guys
Know I have two separate accounts one is where I have an itch account around the electronics and one is just I add
Products in there one to test out before I move it into my brand account or to
just random prop products that I think is a good time to jump on to make a little bit of profit on and
Hopefully if it does really well
I'll reinvest the profits into that and if it's not I've been
You know always one of the first people selling the product. I test that out. I make my profit take it out
I move on to the next product so this product that I was selling on Amazon was what was called a survival kit
Now I know a ton of you guys that are in this channel
And I a few students as well who are looking products within you know the whole being adventures
Kind of thing so this is a good product that you cannot
Perhaps look into and this was a survival kit and what I mean by
Survival kit is you know people who like adventure? They like to go camping?
It was a survival kit that came with the flashlights
And you know all these other tools inside that you know a compass that people would use like a like a knife
That you can go on you know camping trips with that you can find all these really super useful
Products inside and you know at the time there was about five or six other sellers selling the same product
And they were all doing really fantastic sales guys
And I didn't go based off of the numbers again on jungle scout or viral launch I actually tracked them on these sellers were all
Around the same range in terms of reviews
I think at the time everyone had between thirty to a hundred reviews
So not competitive at all and everybody was making consistent sales day over thee
so instead of just copying the exact same product putting my logo or label on it and
Perhaps even going after the whole custom packaging I tried to think of other
products that I can bundle this with so I least if
More sellers were to jump on this product. I wouldn't have to just compete based on price
So I started thinking for
Someone who's going to be using a survival kit who is going out camping who's gonna be outside
And you know they see this as a cool product
What is another product that can go well with it at the same time I can bundle it with to
Create a successful
Bundled product and hopefully differentiate from my competitors and what I came up with was what are this small
medication which had bandages
Alcohol and basically what you would use in case you cut yourself or you hurt yourself
You know going out camping?
and I found a
small medicaid which cost me about ten cents a unit and I was able to sell this for an
Additional two dollars extra on top of my cost so instead of for example
I think at the time my cost for this survival kit was about six six and a half dollars per set
By including a Medicaid on top of this product. Not only was I able to sell
The product at a premium price compared to my competitors
But at the same time I was able to increase my sales velocity
which is how many units a day I was selling just because all my competitors were just selling the
Basic survival kit and people who landed on their page
and we're scrolling down to see the product description came across my product and saw the
Medicaid at the same time and they said hey for an extra two bucks
I can also get this and I ended up actually taking sales from my competitors
While I was running my own PPC campaigns, and I was you know doing my own promotions through jumps
And and you know I was I was actually driving a ton of traffic to my listing just because of that one
differentiating factor
So whenever you're going after a product it might be an amazing product
You might see a huge amount of potential in it in terms of you know all the sellers are making money
You're forty forty five percent net profit margin is in there and you see a good potential of you making similar sales
Hopefully you're doing better job with product photography you're doing a better job with product listing
You know you're putting all the bright back and keywords in there, and you're Matt. You know you're maximizing
Your PPC campaign in terms of your using the keyword tool from merchants words to find
You know relevant keywords you're using the keyword
Research tool from viral launch and you're creating a master list of you know keywords to use for your PPC campaign
Once you start to differentiate, but adding a bundled product
It's gonna help you guys so much more than just you know doing product photography or creating custom packaging because now
The only way that you'll be able to compete directly with other sellers is be someone else's selling the exact same product as you
Which is very important guys so always try to look for bundles. I was watching a video from another
Really well-known youtuber
project life mastery and
He did an interview with another seller who grew his face who grew his Amazon account
from
$2,000 all the way to 3 million dollars in less than a year and a half and one thing that he mentioned
Was that I had an investment of you know five to ten thousand, and I had five products already picked out
But I decided to give it a go and I wanted to start diversifying
In case one product did worse at least I can focus on the other one and one thing had he mentioned
Meet him an extremely successful seller on Amazon is
Instead of again just finding out what products work is try to put your own little twist on any product that you're doing
See how you can give your own little twist to the product to differentiate it from your competitors
It's gonna go a long way
Especially once you get your product
And you get those reviewers in from friends families and other members in the steps to success FPA coolest group on Facebook
Having that differentiated fact there guys is gonna. Go along way trust me on this it's gonna
Make you guys extremely successful
So you see a ton of people on Amazon making money getting to that five ten thousand twenty thousand a month is easy
But once you start bundling your products making it different from everyone else
that's where you start to see all these extra revenue coming in because people can't find similar products to you and
Instead of going and buying a medikit for four dollars and finding the survival kit for you know twenty bucks
They'd rather order yours for twenty two and get everything at the same time again guys trust me this is gonna
help you guys out a ton I
